cool mist causing aborts?

would running a coolmist in a monotub with a small casing cause the pins to abort? i ask this because when i look into the chamber, i can see tiny mist particals flying around and going everywhere like the wind. would these tiny mist particles make pins abort? should i turn off the coolmist when pins arrive?

If you run it too often, it will literally soak and saturate everything. see standing water.

water collects in the bottom of tub and i drain it before it gets too much. would this fine mist moving around the there cause any damage? i just looked at it as a humidity cloud

The fine mist isn't the problem. Once the air is 100% saturated with moisture, the reamining output of the coolmist results in water vapors falling directly out of the air. pick up your tray of substrate and feel how heavy it is. If it seems full of water, take that coolmist out of there and let it fruit. At this point, it would probably fruit at 70% humidity.

Stale, stagnant air and lack of nutrition causes aborts. IOW, I don't consider it likely you'll have lots of aborts, you're talking about a "moving" humidity cloud.

im running the coolmist for good air exchange and some humidity, ive been spraying the top of the caseing and then i will tilt the case and yellowish water will come out, so im keeping it moist and drained. ive just been waiting i geuss, ive been noticing little mycelium strands breaking through the caseing layer. hopefully it works
EDIT would a caseing too damp be harmful?

i just read it, and the baking ur substrate etc seems complicated, i think im going to turn off the coolmist and just keep the caseing moist, does this seem like a better idea?

Yes, heavy direct watering can damage the surface structure of the casing surface. The myc will have trouble breaking through the casing layer because it's "trapped".

would the caseing be fine in a monotub with just the caseing for humidity since im not running the coolmist or do i need to put in anything else

I'm not an expert on the tub, but from what I gather, light misting is be necessary to add moisture lost to fanning and FAE.

Put perlite at the bottom of the tub. Make sure there is enough fresh air exchange, drill holes for fresh air. Check the humidity!

i thought i was taking out the coolmist to reduce the humidity, can i set and forget with just the caseing and misting and fanning by hand alone

The casing deals with the immediate RH at the mycelium's surface. But, that doesn't mean you can case and leave it in the desert either.
