hey welcome to the shroomery
you will find , that mushrooms dominate your way of thinking in a few days, is so great.
well any ways you seem to find and amanita , now next time you find this type of mushrroms and will show again in the smae spot
you can look for this caracteristic, you have to dig a bit the base of the stem to collect a part of this msurooms that is call a volva,
is a bulbuos sac buried, is very importand feuture to identificate correctly your mushrooms , now how i tell is and amanita because the dwarf in the cap , the white spore print and the redish brusing, this amanita is close o cousing of the amanita rubescens .
now next time also take habitad picture with mushroom sin place are very good.
all my best vibrations.

It looks a little like Clitocybe or even more like Hebeloma.

What does it smell like?

What is the spore print color?

Spore print color: Almost purely white, with some off shades.

i guees we can rule out hebeloma and clytocybe why not.

Could also be in Lepiota or Lyophyllum or Melanoleuca.

i guess in this picture are some rest of the volva in the cap and bruise as a amanita rubescens will do . also some lepiota could be , but will be real cool if you can find more mushrooms and dig it up they should come out in the same place i guees we can rule out .
Lyophyllum or Melanoleuca. Lyophyllum because don´t show the caespitosic type of grow of this specie so characteristic, also the gill are not sub decurrent at leat i can see and the not umbiliform cap, also we can rule out melanoleuca because this mushrooms seem too have a ring can you confirm this ,
uhh i really hope you can find another specimen to compare..
all my best,

What is caespitosic type of grow?
Also what is sub-decurrent gills?
Lastly, what is umbiliform cap?

sorry if i misspell it but caespitosic or cespitosico in sphanish is when mushrrom grow in cluster than more than 3 and are attach by the base not close but fuse in a same base o you will say stem .
subdecurred speak about the way the gill are positionet in the mushroom , all gill have and way to atachh to the stem and by so they behave diferent in diferent specie as genuses, subdecurrent mean the gill atcch to the stem and go a bit down of it if you mean to separete the cap and the stem you will notice few pieces of the gills are left in the stem and the contrary when the gill are free , not attacch to the stem
umbiliform cap , it mean it have a depresion in the center and the shape is more like a cup .

if you can find another one, try to take pictures you say you like photograpy , i love it too.
all my best.

I would call that a cluster, not a "tuft". a tuft is like, a tuft of fur. Singular.
