How does this make a person experienced? Anyone can make the decision to put chemicals into their brain. In reality, it's the opposite. It takes someone with experience to respect these substances for what they are.

I think they would have some idea that you're on something after seeing how dialated your pupils are.
If you have really dark eyes like I do the chances of them noticing are pretty small.

What utter foolishness, in my opinion.
I am a well-traveled psychonaut. I take the loss of the ego quite well. I've had well over 100 combined trips between psilocybin and LSD. I've melted my mind on DMT multiple times.
But for me, fear, anxiety, hesitation - these are KEY parts to MY psychedelic experience.
Threads like these quest to unilateralize the psychedelic experience and create benchmarks. They make me sad for the not-so-well-travelled psychonauts, the beginners, who start feeling like they have to achieve certain things, get to certain places.

^^ nice.
my thoughts exactly, but i am much less experienced.
COnsidering the impact the substances will have on you, and the situations you will be in are very important. If you are not emotionally ready to trip, then it is a horrible idea. Being able to trip on any drug at any dose at whatever level of emotional stability, just proves your own ability to block out facing the mirror of the soul.
Confronting whatever you uncover inside yourself, and understanding how to incorporate the learnings you might find is what makes someone not a psychedelic "noob" to me. Its about learning about all the wonderful (or not so wonderful) things you can reveal during the experience.

I think it's all relative to the individual, though some experience of psychedelics (at whatever level the individual feels comfortable with) helps!

When you look at such threads and sort of laugh to yourself. Your tune will soon change man.. After you accept the insight that can be gained from such experiences you are no longer a 'noob'. I guarantee you that your standard of living will improve and everything will be slightly clearer.
However, there are plenty of people in the world that eat loads of these so called 'drugs' for their narcotic effect, and fail to learn the lessons that their subconscious is trying to communicate. The people that don't learn and grow from their experiences are the 'psychedelic noobs', The ones that still have the same ignorant, 'dishonest' mindset after psychedelic experiences are the true 'noobs'.
The best bit is that you don't have to do heroic doses or smoke loads of dmt while peaking on mushrooms, or trip 100+ times. This kind of insight can be obtained without ever doing 'drugs' at all. The word psychedelic, literally translates to 'mind manifesting' and there are plenty of experiences that do not involve these chemical keys to allow you to see in that degree of clarity.

i would say i'm always going to be a noob to psychadelics until i stop learning about my mind. when i hit that wall and nothing else can be learned, i'm going to put down my psychedelics and spread the word just as i do now.
