no i haven´t , look like a good one, i love micorrizal associations, since was because of it i got interest in school about the subject , and amaze many aspect for example mostly 80% of all plant have or can have micorrizal association, even in aquatic plants, terrestrial, cactus's,orchids is specially fundamental in the germination of orchids , ferns, and some other plant that don´t produce chlorophyll ., the mycorrhiza have different ecological benefit for the plant-mushrooms-environment,is one of the best association i have see in nature, the symbiosis of some can for a total new structure and individual As lichen , the mycorrhiza are the perfect example that mushrooms are intelligence beings , the mushrooms matrix can have more connection that our human brains, and the symbiont can be the most biggest structure or live entities in the earth , sometimes i get afraid , about if the mushrooms where against us, we should star praying , for our future since we are destroying his environment, the mycorrhiza can connect all plants and all tree in a forest and can extend for kilometer, the history's about the fairy tales that someone enter the wood and all the trees where alive is true is been demonstrates that the trees communicate each others, and the mycorrhiza play a good part of it, we are only in 01 percent of this discovery , when a herbivorous enter a forest and eat or damage a branch of the trees , the tree immediately produce pheromones and volatile substances that travel the forest when other tree detect this essence they change the chemical make up of the leaves and such so the animal fell a bad taste, and not eat any more, example as this are many in the woods the monotropa plant don´t produce chlorophyll and need the mushrooms to germinate and to absorbe the nutrients, but the mushrooms need a tree to absorb the sugar or carbohydrates ,this is a 3 association, they coexist, the nature put examples so magical even for our ethic structure of society . also the way they use to id mycorrhiza is amazing by studying the Myceliun and hyphal connection endospores, etc, it seem pretty advance many mushrooms live in the soil very few are able to cultivate in artificial condition , yet is more life in a grain of soil , than in the water, million of mushroom exist and don´t develop macroscopic structures or never show up, so we don´t even understand what happens in the soil, This is pure magic , i got overwhelm when i was 22 and still think it never ends

Yes, I am really starting to get a good collection of mycology related books.
I just ordered three books and a indoor reishi patch. Two of the books are How To Identify Mushrooms To Genus Part III & Part VI (I already have parts I & II, and would highly recommend part I), plus another book about medicinal properties of mushrooms. So that will keep me busy for a while as far as reading goes. The How To Identify Mushrooms To Genus books are a lot of information to digest.
CureCat, would you like a copy of part one sent to you? -Years ago I offered to buy each of the Hunting moderators a copy because I figured it should be required reading for a mod here. Surprisingly none of the guys were interested in a free book and figured all their other books were enough. Strange enough.
GG
I have a good feeling that part III is going to be a doozy.
Alan, since you have a microscope you should really consider it too.
Mushrooms to Genus III: Microscopic Features By Drs. David Largent, David Johnson, and Roy Watling. In our opinion, this books accomplishes a lot. In its 148 pages, the authors have pooled their knowledge to systematically describe and illustrate the microscopic features that are the basis of modern mushroom taxonomy. Softcover. MGIII $23.95 I also looked into buying used copies of parts 4 & 5 (to complete the collection), they are both out of print now and they are around $70 each, and I have a feeling parts 3 & 6 are going to overload me for a while.

not at all i mean to say money is not necesary all the time, and copys are not internet displays and are not for comercial propurses, are for free, and in discrete manner what i said is only because i´m poor i will not recive all the good informatiion , no i´m agaist it, so only the rich can have that kind of knoleghe the shame on the people that invent copyright and all the ways to control the information i was not trying to duplicate this for all the rest of the world doing damage to the autor, not what i said is this, money is everithing, if you see it rightseem to be the case is a shame that truly is a shame that knoleghe is not accesible to the poor i´´m not rich but that make me a bad person not worty to recive the information that in the end will help all , don´t you think something is wrong there obviosly if you have lot of money you will not fell that and said fuck the poor people, well mostly poor people are the one that have made the most increible recheards in history the most advance tecnology , what they do buy all book ,not they steal , they kill, they do all that was there to get the secret, we live in a unfear world should we have to support it.. we can play by the rules and still brake then , after all we are the underground generation waiting to show off and kick all the ood guys in a while. all my best vibration, i´m on your side to the right of the lord

GG, I didn't want you to send me a copy because I've had copies of volumes I - IV for over 20 years. They are some of the best books ever written on how to get started identifying mushrooms.
The thought is nice, though.
Happy mushrooming!
