it would most likely be an underlying factor instead of a decreased sensitivity with such occasional use.
say if you have some type of counteracting food in your stomach when you consumed it or if the shrooms were lacking in potency or something along those lines.. no way to tell.

i've heard speculation on things such as milk and dairy products..
someone said carrot juice..
some people even say orange juice.. but i find that to not be the case.
my advice for you is, next time get a grinder and grind up your dose, put it in a doubleshot glass and put a shot of lemon juice on it.
let it soak around 15 minutes then shoot it.. wash it down with some water and tell me how it goes.

Maybe the mushrooms were less potent this time... each mushroom is a different potency then the next.

What does that do ? Were you being sarcastic or does it actually make it easier to eat mushies ?

i dont know if it makes it easier to eat.. that's all your opinion and preference.. but it does make the experience HELLA stronger and pretty much ensures a good dosage..
at least in my experiments..
search around.. there are probably literally hundreds of posts about it on here.

I've noticed a LARGE difference in eating them on an empty stomach. I've had times where we've had cubies and, with a full stomach, had trips that weren't nearly as strong as everyone elses. But I recently ate them with an empty stomach and it was on par with some acid that I've done.
Try not doing them after eating anything.

At least his "tolerance" wouldn't stop him from tripping if he ate an 1/4 haha. I plan on eating a quarter next time I trip.

seems like the mushrooms you got were less potent than the ones you ate before. next time eat an eighth to make sure you trip!
yeah, the lemon method makes them a lot stronger. the acidity of the lemon (citric acid) converts all the psilocybin into psilocin (taking over the action of your stomach), making it faster and more easily absorbed.
(this is all to the best of my knowledge, I may be wrong)

1.75g's is not that much. It can be good if you get some good mushies but when you get the less potent ones it seems like a why bother? I'd say go with an 1/8th everytime, maybe even more!

How old were they? If they were in a bag on the window sill since the fourth of July, that would make sense that they didn't work for you. But, that amount of the B+'s I just made some tea from would give you guaranteed undeniable effects. Of course, mine are super fresh and drier than dust.
