Just keeping it real... yo.

Consider it a reminder that people can easily read MORE into something than was intended.

I thought the gay thread pic MADE the thread personally. It was classy on more levels than I can count.

I thought so, but I guess OC lost his sense of humor because I was asked to delete it...

Again, I apologize. I was just making a joke instead of getting all offended by the original antagonistic post.

Nobody (well ALMOST nobody) wants to see a Mod rubbing a veterans nose in shit. It makes the other old-farts feel uncomfortable.

Really, I am not mad at you Middle.

I called you out for another reason entirely. Put simply, this forum has already been shaken up a few too many times in the past.

Assuming WE ALL obey the TWO rules, there should be no reason for such a shake up in the future.

Antagonism is relative.

YOU are almost always your OWN protagonist.

But, if you feel like you are the PROtagonist...

What does that make the rest of us lowly Shroomerites?

It has happened before... and I had very good seats.

Forgive me for being defensive Middle... but I do know what can go down in here... and in the Mod forum.

This forum has lost MANY great veteran posters due to the actions of protagonist Mods like you.

Not. Your. Fault. I know.

But when I see something that concerns me... I will say it.

I agree. If one takes a position as a Mod then one upholds the standard of that forum and sets the tone by example. What the hell are we paying you guys for?:rofl2:

Payment is thanks. And who needs to be thanked anyway. He does it for other reasons besides that I'm sure. (Being part of the Shroomery elite for one and power for another)

That's why I did it.

OH... AND the Mod forum is a HOOT! Probably the best forum at The Shroomery.

I'm sure it is. It's full of the worst posters at the Shroomery who think they're the best.:rofl2:

I had heard the mods received some payment.

I wish!

Admins get paid for their time, but I'm pretty sure they'd make more at a minimum wage job.

Modding Shroomery is a labor of love.

Have you ever seen a really really good movie?

Try explaining that with science.

How were you able to know it was good?

I see what you are saying eve...

But a good circle is a circle.

A bad circle is not a circle.

A good post can be understood easily by MOST readers.

A bad post can't.

Yeah... good and bad are relative... but they aren't as wildly relative as you may think. There are many things which are perceived as being, "Good" by a VAST majority of all humans. And since, "Good" is a human term... it only matters to us, anyway.

"Nothing is good or bad. Only thinking makes it so." I know... but still... humans think.
