Mysticism vs. Science and Logic (yet again)
    #7859494 - 01/10/08 01:28 PM (16 years, 22 days ago)

Just about every other Wednesday, some mystic head will put down science and logic. Whenever I (or Diploid or...?) catches it we generally respond, "Now transmit your message to thousands without using logic."

*Crickets chirping*

No response. Using a tool to tell other how much you hate the tool is the height of hypocrisy.

Are these fluffernauts willing to give up music, genetically crafted bud, a flush toilet, their cars? Hell no. Do they read the Cultivation Forums to learn process and procedure (science)? Of course!

Get a clue cyrstal-wielders and try to be somewhat consistent in your outrage. :skittles:

I really don't know what you are talking about, and your use of a neologism obscures your meaning further.

What exactly is the problem?

You are too new to know.

Fluffernauts are people who believe in silly things.

For more info, try a Shroomery search for the SAME term.

at the crucial moments I’ll recover
my spirit as was before: ascetic.”

Fluff: something of no consequence

Fluffernaut: one who bases much of their world view on fluff; i.e. New Age quackery, crytals, homeopathy, ESP, UFOs, etc. and has a very difficult time using logic and as it applies to their pet beliefs

Republican Values:

1) You can't get married to your spouse who is the same sex as you.
2) You can't have an abortion no matter how much you don't want a child.
3) You can't have a certain plant in your possession or you'll get locked up with a rapist and a murderer.

4) We need a smaller, less-intrusive government.

Wow Middleman.

You can edit your posts a LONG time after you make them...

And it doesn't give YOUR edits a time-stamp.

Anyway, your edit inspired me to do the same.

The underlying meaning all depends upon how you split the word....

Fluffer:  A fluffer is a hired member of the crew of a pornographic movie whose role on the set is to sexually arouse the male participants prior to the filming of scenes requiring erections.

Naut:  An abbreviation for "Nautical"
Nautical:  Relating to or involving ships or shipping or navigation or seamen.

Semen and seamen all in one word....!  :rofl2:

Wow Cervantes, lighten up. I thought it was funny.

The OP is obviously trolling, so I thought I'd fight fire with fire.

If I offended anyone, I apologize.
