ive got a couple of specimens, but i havent had them for so long so im not sure exactly how fast they are... cereus in general is a relatively fast genus so i cant imagine that they grow slowly...

In order to be more accurate: Cereus peruvianus minor v. monstrose
I have a few of these... One actually 'big' one. After a few years it will turn into some sort of 'castle' structure, it is not very slow but is considerably slower than non monstrose Cereus. Besides, it is the _minor_ version of Cereus, it won´t ever grow tall.

How high will eating a big bag of lawn clippings get you?
Try TRICHO-cereus!
T. bridgesii var. monstrose is supposed to be the most potent psychoactive cactus besides Lophophora!

Is my information incorrect?
A bag of grass clippings will not get your very high.
Nor, will that cereus peruvianus....
It's not a Trichocereus peruvianus is it?
To my knowledge Cereus peruvianus is not active.

Teo, when the original poster stated "how high will it get" he was referring to the height of the cactus, as in inches or centimeters. Not the pharmacological effects as you presumed. Therefore, your post about the bag of grass clippings and T. bridgesii where off the subject of the Cereus peruvianus monstrose identification which had nothing at all to do with it's psychoactivity. Your post was typical of your old posts as "Teo" which brought on uarewotueat's "here we go again" comment. Understand?

as knoa said, u missed the point entirely... this thread has nothing to do with asking if the cactus is active, its just an id request... brshroomer knows wot it is, just looking for confirmation... believe it or not there are people around here who grow non active cacti... surprisingly your info is correct, sadly it has nothing to do with the topic at hand... your the only one talking about trichocereus here...
u havent changed one bit teo... thick as a brick, no offence to all the bricks out there.
