Which one's better and why? I vote puppies because they're really cute and smell like rainbows.
I think snakes suck because they look like a big dick and shoot caustic venom at your face permanently disfiguring you.

You completely ruined my perception of rainbows.

Puppies completely own snakes, they can lick their own balls 1 minute and then lick your face like its the most natural thing in the world.

Don’t forget how they eat their own /each others feces too.
I gotta give to them on vomiting, they do clean up there own mess in those circumstances. They lick that shit dry madding it into the carpet/
Don’t forget about the period blood they leave all over the furniture.
Really, what’s not to love about dogs?
Ha, ha Snakes FTW

I'd rather own a snake than a puppy.
Besides, "puppies on a plane" would have sucked even more.

I don't think that's a very convincing argument for dogs, you jackass
I love it when my little poopsie eats his own shit and then gives me kisses

This HAS to be liz. I don’t think there is anyone else here ignorant enough to spew out a false info like that.
First of all the snake pictured isn’t venomous.
Secondly, the VAST majority of pet snakes are non venomous. In fact many more humans are killed every year by pet dogs than pet snakes.
Venomous snakes are controlled and can only be kept by licensed keepers legally.
Now someone might have told your gullible obese ass that they had a venomous snake as a pet. If so the were probably lying or just as stupid as you are.
Quit spreading miss information and go stuff your fat face with Twinkies.

i had a pet rattlesnake.
oh, and maybe more people are killed by pet dogs than pet snakes because there are a lot more pet dogs than snakes.

You had a wild rattle snake, probably illegally, or you live in the sticks.
Not only that, but a rattle snake bite in a city is a non lethal event.

Puppies are better. Ever tried to get a snake to clean you up after you wank it?

Why compare the two? Some people aren’t in the position to own dogs. Snakes are low maintenance, and good for busy people that still want something to take care of in there life.
I don’t think one is necessarily superior to the other. Frankly I think it’s a little stupid to compare the two in the first place. I can see comparing a dog and a cat but a snake is in a completely different category of pet ownership.

I declare this Poll null, based on bias by OP. Look at that ugly picture of the dog and that oh sooo cute pic of the snake.
I demand a cute puppy pic and an ugly snake pic to even the odds.

This is the best argument for snakes IMO.
"If you want something to take care of, but don't want to have to take care of something, get a snake".

Puppies are better. They seem so much sadder when you kick he hell out of them, which makes owning a puppy oh so much more rewarding.

Spiders are the ultimate pet. Intriguing, fun, low maintenance, you can have one for a few dollars and the bottom line is that it's a bug, so you won't be all torn up if one of them dies on you.
Only downsides are that they are quite fragile (nothing for a household with young children or free-roaming pets like cats) and that some of them carry a painful bite.
Some spiders are ridiculously big and aggressive, especially Asian ones, and it's quite something to see them catch their prey.

no it's not
dogs are for candy asses that need a sense of being loved, who aren't able to get it from other human beings...and snakes are for badass mother fuckers that like to clean up neighborhood strays by turning em into something useful for a change (mainly: food)
there is no 'up side' to a mutt

It's hard to train a snake to let you know when your friends are holding, or to point out birds in bushes so you can shoot them, or to bite people in the nuts, or to fetch a beer from the fridge, or to do pretty much anything.

Liz here - #1, I don't like twinkies, but thanks. The fat jokes are super original, really
#2 - I'm a lot of things, but not ignorant. I didn't post this thread. I think snakes make great pets as long as you're responsible and knowledgeable as an owner, same with any other animal.
