My dog just pissed all over my house

Whenever I give him a large supply of water, he will overdrink, everytime. Thus, he has to piss shortly after. I just come downstairs to see he pissed all over the stairs and all over the living room. So i walked up to him, punched him in the face, picked him up and body slammed him, then held his nose in his piss for 5 minutes
I sorta feel bad but jesus christ, this is getting OLD.

Sorry, but you are a retarded pet owner (no offense )
If the dog drinks excessively you should know he'll have to go outside shortly there after.
If the dog goes out to play and comes in thirsty as shit or if (which I think is your case) neglected and deprived of water, the pup will drink alot when presented with water. So the pup will have to go shortly after.
I hope that dog piss smells up your whole house and I also hope someone close to you recognizes your neglect and animal cruelty and reports it so the dog will be taken away and can find a responsible owner.

associate a command word with the act of pissing. That way you can make him piss on command.
Anytime you give a dog food and drink, he must be taken outside immediatley after. IF he does not evacuate, he goes into a crate inside the house for a short spell. Then you let him out of the crate to go evacuate outside. If he does not evacuate, repeat the crate containment process. IF he does evacuate, reward him and play with him a bit.....
If it's first thing in the morning after being asleep all night, he should evacuate as soon as waking up. Sometimes a good rub down on the abdomen will cause them to poop.
Dogs look up to their owners to teach them the appropriate method to evacuate. Also, young pups do not know how to control their bladder because they have weak muscles for the first part of their lives.
I know these things because I had a german shepherd that had a whole 3,000 sq ft house to himself during the day while I was at work.
The routine was upon waking, evacuate, and when he came back inside he was given half a cup of food to get him through the day while I Was at work. When I returned, he was taken out to evacuate and then was given a full meal. He went out one last time before bed to do his thing. Once he was used to the routine, there were no issues.

O.P. here, you're a moron. I do in fact, take him out all the fucking time. No, the dog didn't just come in. No the dog is never deprived of fucking water. I fill up his drinking dish with 2 gallons of water and he sucks it dry. Because he drinks 2 gallons of water in 10 minutes, im a bad owner now?

To the last poster, thanks for the tips. I do actually associate a word with taking him outside. He always responds to it and understands the word now. I've had him 4 monthes now and he is 10 monthes old. He had a lot of accidents when I first got him at 6 monthes, but that ended very quickly after he learned to go outside. He just seems to have this over drinking problem. Which in effect, causes him to piss. I just took him out a hour before he pissed all over the house. He also was playing outside for a hour before that with my other dog.
I just dont understand why he wont tell me he has to piss. also, you mention the crate training. He has a water supply 24/7, how am I supposed to force him to piss or put him in a crate? I mean I do take him outside many times a day, especially RIGHT before bed and RIGHT in the morning. I've found those to be the most important times. When I do take him out, he pisses within 1 minute of being out there. He's a pretty good dog, 90% of the time and it seems as if he's learning really well except in the aspect of telling me he has to piss so bad he's going to piss all over my floor.
I also think you may be right with the weak muscles thing. One time when i was massaging him for 5 minutes, he just started pissing because he was so relaxed.
AH, dog training is FUN!

You may think I'm cruel, but I have always rationed my indoor dog's water. Some dogs act on a survival instinct, especially when around other dogs, to consume as much food and water as they can when it's available. Generally, they will outgrow this when they begin to know the limits of their masters.
I always put food and water down for breakfast and dinner for my dogs. And took it up after they were done. In the evenings, I always add ice to their water bowls so they don't gulp the water all down at once just becuase it's there. I can put a bowl of water down, and it's gone in 20 seconds, or a bowl of ice water, and the waters gone in 20 seconds, but water remains in the bowl for the rest of the evening after the ice melts. Dogs are just silly like that. I have one dog that will hold out on dog food just to have room for treats, snacks, dropped food from my 4 yr old and occasionl things he finds outside to eat. He will litereally eat anything, including spring mix salad with oil and vinegar dressing.

I'd agree to that if I pissed on the carpet, fortunately, I keep my piss contained to sinks.
I think I'm going to try the ICE method in the water. That's a good idea and it sounds as if my dog does the same as your dog.

Did you let your rage control you? Or were you able to control your rage? Think about it---the moment you picked up your dog to "body slam" him were you gritting your teeth in anger? Could you have stopped yourself at that point? I am not criticizing or judging you, there are times our own animal instincts take over us and we lose control--- it is the ability to control those behaviors that make us human. Your dog is not human so it's animal instinct is-when it has a full bladder, relieve itself.
