Heavy use of Psychedelics

I don't have any friends that are trippers, so I really don't have anyone to ask. But if I tripped every week to level 3 or 4 and sometimes 5; would I be considered going over the line of what a normal tripper does? I am not showing off, I really want to know if I am taking this to an abnormal extreme.

there is no too much which applies for all people, but you'll know when too much is too much, i just hope it doesn't come when some negative effects result like it once did to me and other people i've known

Some would say.......
Take your multi vitamin, 5 htp and eat well. you should be fine, tho I feel that with time the experience will become bland and then youll take a break and be glad u did.
my best guess anyway

Ya, I think I'm ready for a break. But the last four or so months have been extremely interesting.

heh, they usually are
i've posted about it before, but my 9 month adventure of eating mushrooms at least every weekend, sometimes multiple times per week, left some marks that have just started getting better in the last 6 months (this was from fall '05 - end of spring '06)
please, be careful and listen to your body/mind

Everything in moderation, including moderation..........
If you start to feel depleted in anyway and off center then take a break. Psychedelics release a huge amount of energy and the body/mind can be burnt out. I haven't shroomed in 1 year btw.

Moderation is key.
Yes, the experience is magical, and very special.
If you want it to remain special, you'll value it and space out your trips. Going buckwild now and then, binging a little, I think a lot of people do it, that's fine. But really, you can burn yourself out on the experience.
You'll find yourself re-experiencing the same moment you had in your last trip - it's a very annoying thing to happen, and in my opinion, the entheogens' way of telling you to take 'er easy.

Exactly. I had that problem with mushies after awhile. Although I think a big part of that was due to being in the same setting almost every time. It can make a big difference to trip in a different place or at least seriously alter your trip "pattern" to change things up. Ya just gotta meet the drug halfway.

I know there are no physical effects of mushrooms that make you stupid, but I feel like heavy use can make your brain 'tired' and make you just act really weird. Everything you think on mushies isn't a valid thought , and as you do them more you start to just think like that all the time.
I prefer to have my sober mind 95% separated from my tripping mind as to observe and quantify what I learn while tripping.

I can vouch for that.
