Cakes running out of nutrients
    #7855938 - 01/09/08 08:29 PM (16 years, 23 days ago)

So, I am currently watching my third or fourth flush (hard to tell, they were so active in the beginning, been harvesting since Dec 14). After the last flush I redunked and rolled. Currently I have a decent amount of small mush sprouts coming out, with about one fatty per cake.
My question is, it has been about a week and a half since I placed the cakes back in the FC, will the one and two inch sprouts just stay that way? Or will they continue to grow, and if they don't, will they raise their cap in order to announce their maturity?
I have one fatty whose cap broke away from the stalk, but the cap never flared up, so it more pulled away from the stalk rather than the cap expanding and breaking away.

Have the fruits run out of nutrients? Should I harvest while still fresh? I know I should wait and see, but just wondering if anybody knows what I am talking about.

Cheers

Keep the RH high and give it plenty of FAE and hope for the best.

I would say that you should be celebrating for getting more than two flushes.....

LOL that was a strange response. But anyway Yeah I would give em a day or two more than just pick them. Start some new cakes

With LC, don't put all your money and time in one basket. Sure LC is nice when it works, but it sucks to inoculate 24 quarts of WBS to grown green gunk when it looks like you're innoculating them with LC.
