I checked the FAQ on Panaeolus cyanescens and I found something confusing

I've recently become curious about Panaeolus cyanescens. So I thought I'd start doing some reading and see what I could see. I thought I'd start with the FAQ and go from there. Whilst I was going through those I found a part of the post quite surprising. One section suggests that a PF Tek/ MMGG can work for Pans. I don't know what MMGG means I'll have to do a search on that but anyhow the part that baked my noodle was this. The suggested tek which I've copied into this post uses manure in the cake. I.E. you sterilize the manure in the jar along with the vermiculite and brown rice flour. So now I'm confused. I've always read that sterilizing manure is dangerous because it becomes really prone to growing trichoderma. Is it because the manure stays in the jar and fully colonizes that it's safe to use this method? Or is this just bad information and I should just ignore it and do my usual WBS and spawn it to some pasteurized poo/verm/coir mix later? I know I must have read 20 posts about people injecting poo jars and people more or less laughing them off the board. Does this not apply to Pans?
Here is the URL to the FAQ I'm talking about.

Here is the part that confused me:
Can they grown successfully using the PF Tek/MMGG method?
Yes, Panaeolus cyanescens (aka Copelandia cyanescens) can be cultivated using the PF tek, but there will need to be some slight adjustments in the substrate. The following modified, dung containing PF tek substrate by BJ works well: Mix for 10-12 half pints: 5 cups vermiculite 3 cups manure 10 tblspns BRF 1.5 - 1.75 cups water
Fill your canning jars, sterilize for an hour in a pressure cooker and inoculate via the PF tek method. Once your substrate is fully colonized, crumble and case with 50/50+. Since the manure is already added to your substrate, there is no need to spawn with manure and risk contamination in this step. Just place your cased substrate into your humidity chamber and watch them grow!

If you sterilize it and keep it in a sterile environment while it colonizes there is no problem.
Pasteurizing is for poo that is going to be spawned out in the open (in a monotub, a tray, whatever)
Poo jars and bags work, but need to be inoculated with LC and enriched with grain and others to work consistently.
Check out monstermiches poo bags among others to see examples of these in action.

Sure, it could work that way. . .maybe. However, you'll get far more bang for the buck by spawning to manure. 1/2 pint jars are so small, they're next to worthless for bulk substrates such as manure. Traditional methods will serve you much better. RR

If you're going to crumble and case, anyways, couldn't a larger container be used?
