can impeller humidifiers have water dripping on them?

i know they can operate at 100% rh, so this might be a dumb question, but i just wanted to make sure...

my ideal setup is going to have them with a shelf right above them

as long as the water cant reach the motor it should be fine, cutting a hole and sticking a garden hose in it would probably work better for you tho

my humidifier is going inside the greenhouse, no room elsewhere

no idea what your humidifier looks like.

put it in a bag and cut a hole for the water to fly out?
