Changes since tripping...

Since doing shrooms ive noticed several things that have changed compared to before taking them. I knew i would notice some mild changes in my life after taking them, however there are some things that happen from time to time that i wouldnt have expected.
I ve only ever tripped outside in forests and similar places with lots of trees/plants etc.. and now whenever im in a place with lots of trees around me i feel like i get mild flashbacks from my trips, i feel very relaxed, spaced out and generally happy. also ive heard that flashbacks don't tend to happen with shrooms but a couple of times now ive been sitting down and stuff around me starts to breath. only very slightly, but its noticble. I get weird and random thoughts enter my head from nowhere.
I also had a mild out of body experience one night when i was going to sleep.
Was just wondering if anyone has noticed this sort of stuff since they have started taking shrooms??

Yes, I am definitely more in tune with all living things (particularly plant life) and more peaceful in general. The interconnectivity of all things that revealed itself has led me towards a more peaceful, compassionate nature.

YES! I don't think everyone has them though, but think about it, it's like you have opened up a part of your mind that was never used before..

Thats good to know that others have these same things happen and Love Cap... thats exactly what its like.. i couldnt think how to put it but i know what you mean. Its like since doing shrooms, even when im not on them some of the effects still linger on slightly.
I don't really see it as good or bad its just different i suppose... im just glad others know what im talking about..

My train of thought seems to getting off track more recently lately. I also am generally a more peaceful person, especially after acid. (Saving Private Ryan was almost unbearable for me to watch the week after acid)
Also, whenever I smoke weed now it becomes slightly more trippy, because the day I took an 8th I smoked a ton of weed.

Nature.
I found earth centric spirituality. Dont jump on all the expectations and preconceptions associated with paganism. Christians believe in one central God, and his creations as separate.
I believe that God is not a deity, or a singular being.
I believe that god is in each and every thing. God is the waves of the ocean, God is the moist earth, God is the reflection of the moon in a puddle, God is the sun shining on the clouds.
Patterns in nature and the complexity of ecosystems are amazing. Even pine cones are something to behold.
Psychedelics in general, especially mushrooms, have me me aware of my mind. As well as aware of my existence, and my connection to everything.
I have found that i need to use my life to seek understanding.

I think it would be awesome to have flash backs thats like free mushrooms without having to eat any.

I've never heard of it, but I just looked it up. I believe my cousin is suffering from this - I mean badly. I know I've experienced similar effects, but it has been SIX MONTHS since I tripped on anything, so... it has faded quite a bit. But I used to get minor flashbacks a lot - nothing serious, just a little change of perception and breathing and trails and whatnot.
He used to be a crazy, talkative mother fucker. But there was one time when he took one hit of acid by himself on his mom's little piece of land in Arkansas, and he says he tripped longer and harder than he ever had. He said death split the sky, and trees were evil. He said trees wanted to pee on him. I'm guessing it was because he didn't sleep during the entire ordeal.. causing him to start tripping off sleep deprivation once the LSD was metabolized.
Anyway, he ended up checking himself into a psyche ward. I don't know what he was trying to accomplish... all I know is that since then, every time he comes around, he's so incredibly awkward, and he talks as if he's trying to be as enigmatic as possible. He says things that... don't really make sense. It's really depressing, because we used to be partners in crime.

Just like you can use trips to your advantage or to better understand yourself/your existence/the world... I think you can use "HPPD" the same way. I don't think flashbacks are bad at all. Also, I totally agree with origami on god!

The only side effect I seem to get is trailing occasionally. Or if I smoke after recently doing shrooms.

Whenever I shroom, for about a week afterward I'll have some great CEV after smoking weed.
I've learned quite a few personal things about myself over the course of my trips, and have adjusted my life accordingly (nothing too major here).
But the biggest change was after a trip just last wednesday. It wasn't anything special really (no more special than any other trip, anyway). I spent much of the duration reflectng on events over the holidays and how my relationships with certain friends had changed. My face was wet with tears of joy for most of that time.
Since then, I've just felt the need to live an improved life. I've started eating healthy (I went from hardly eating anything but junk food and drinking a case of coke a day to learning to cook and eating healthy foods all day, washing it down with milk or water). I went back to exercising regularly. My relationship with my mother and many of my friends has improved. I made a giant leap of progress toward finally getting a highschool diploma - I needed 8 credits and knocked it down to 1. I decided I oughta be paying rent, and began doing so (I live at home). I decided to start putting some money away to go hiking in the summer. And I've been drastically reducing my daily intake of marijuana smoke.
all in a week
I can't give the mushrooms full credit here obviously - most of these were things in my life that just needed to change. But that trip seemed to somehow give me the kick in the ass that I needed.

Things have been breathing in my field of vision since I can remember. We naturally have visual disturbances that make objects appear to move or recede. But psychedelics can make them more apparent.

You know, now that I think about it, when I'm shrooming on a regular basis, I tend to lean towards a vegetarian type of diet for weeks afterwards. Been a few months since I last shroomed though, so I just macked down a Portebello Shroom Burger. lol

I had a crazy experience once on a roadtrip. I stopped at this piece of bumblefuck town, Elko, Nevada, and ate at a crappy restaurant. 15 minutes after I finish the meal, I feel like I'm coming up on a mushroom trip. My palms got sweaty, my pupils were dialated, and my vision was very vivid and started to breathe.
It went away about 15 minutes after I made myself yack. I'm not sure if it was a flashback, or if something in the food had gone bad or what. It freaked me out for sure though, I had no idea what was going on.
Another time I had a mild E flashback when I was going to bed. That was amazing. Anyone else had one of those?
