most efficient way of producing mycelium????

i am a newbie to this forum . but im not in no way a newbie to cultivation. ide like to use this resource to ask all you other folks for input on my query.
what is the quickest way of innoculation of jars or i only have experience with agar transfer(i recieve my strains from a FOAF in a mycelium mat on a petri with sterilized agar). I have found that this way there is a better chance of lots of pins because, 100% of the time the mycelium is rhizomorphic also leads to better fruits.
the reason why i asked is because everyone seems to perfer spore mass innoculation, why is that? is it faster than agar transfer technique? what are the pros of spore mass?.
thanx...

Spore is easier and you don't need to know as much or have as mch equipment.

It seems as if you are makeing a point, rather than asking a question. If you are in no way a newbie to cultivation and understand the benifits of an isolate, you have to know what multispore inoculation is about. Now lemme ask you, why is the majority using multispore?

there is no literature specific to spore mass innoculation especially for psilocybies(the book is rather general) ide like to hear actual experiences than to research in books!

well i know that multispore/spore mass is easier and does not need as much pressure sterilization but ... my question was the efficient way.and im not trying to prove a point im just assuming that the most popular way is the best. in essence im looking for feedback. weither i am wasting funds on agar cultures, guessing that its faster when possibly it isnt. thanx

huh? I dont understand. I know that different substrates may vary in sterilization but.....
The most popular way is not always the best, only much more simple and convenient. I say stick with the cultures you are working with now.

I belive your talking about clonning on agar...wich sure always rysosomic.sp but using multi spore dosnt lead to degradation of the strain...maby alittle more time involved but in the long run multispore works for me!!!
