9:30?

LOL

Count your blessings young man.

When I was in school all my classes started at 8 and it was on the other side of the city.  Two long stinky busrides each way.

And I LIKED it! :crankey:

Yeah, I know it could be worse, but still, I don't do the morning thing very well.

Thanks

Now this is going to digress slowly into a happy birthday thread.
I suppose that's fine, it had no direction anywhere.

Just sleep earlier and set your waking time earlier... you can sleep as little as you normally do, just shift some blocks.

Or keep lowering it until you sleep only a couple hours a night and be working at 100%. It really works. Do it over time though.

A lot of people start work at 8:00, and if not, 9:00.

9:30 is a blessing.

I hate 3 o'clock classes even more.

I'd have lunch, go to class, and fall to sleep in the middle of a stats class.

But really sleep, with the drool and all.

Meh, the nice thing is it's my only class, so being done for the day this early is cool. I can nap and not worry about how long my nap is and shit.

The class is kind of interesting, Demius. It's an intro to rhetoric class, I'm into that kind of stuff. The teacher is young, and it's only a 30 person class, which is also a nice break from the huge lectures that I usually have (although I have none this quarter which is sweet.)

i've only had one 200+ person class, and then two almost 100 person classes.

outside of that they've all been 10-30

what is intro to rhetoric, philosophy?

It's an English class actually. I also don't know why it's intro, because English 110 (required of every student, usually taken by freshman) is a basic rhetoric class too. It's all about analyzing different forms of communication and learning the different ways in which they convey their point to people.

It's all based on Aristotle's shit though, the whole logos, pathos, egos shit.

gotcha. that was called Fundamentals of Communication, here

we had to do speeches (informative, argumentative, and persuasive) in addition to learning about all of aristotle's crap

I wish I was still a student. Those were the easy days.

Work for me starts about 7.
