So I've been outta work for 4 months, living off my savings, and now down to my last few dimes...thankfully I got a job today at Chase but I won't get my 1st check till the 15th. They took their sweet ass time to hire me too (1 month since the interview), it's so hard to find a decent job these days it's crazy. You'd think I would find a job quickly cuz I'm experienced and I'm fluent in Spanish. I just wanna know if any of you guys are/were going through the same thing so I don't feel alone. (lol)

haha no. i would not like to try that.
why dont you do something like construction or something where they dont give a shit about that kinda stuff?
you'd at least be making more money than at jack in the b-jesus fish
and, after all, money = happiness, right?

There are a bunch of little buttsluts that work that and I work with my buddy that I kick it with everyday and he can drive my ass to work

I saw somewhere that if you have a felony on your record you can't get an apartment/house or most jobs.....
Is that true?

probably depends where you live.. what type of felony it was.. and how long its been since the felony.
but it's definitely not going to help you get an apartment/house or a job if you do have one..
i like that makaveli quote, dobie.

I was fired just right before the new year, I answered phones at a real estate office and was there for 1 year and one month. Basically I had gotten unhelpful and a little rude on the phones, but I had also been answering phones at other real estate offices prior to that and was getting quite burned out. Right now is the first time I have become unemployed that it is not a huge deal to me. I got plenty saved up in the bank and I am well aware it usually takes me around 3-4 weeks to find a job, and right now I want to move up to something like and Administrative Assistant, so that I am not bored when things are slow and things aren't repetitive.
a month to hire? geeez.
I am pretty sure I will come out of this better in the long run, perhaps a better job with more variety.
