I see a lot of threads on this and I just have to type this up. Prices vary greatly from area to area. I will use marijuana and shrooms as a example. Around me a eigth of shrooms goes for 30-50$ a 8th and .7 - 1 gram of bud goes for 20$ (it's dank though)....Prices are very dependant on the supply that gets filtered into the street level dealers and the such. Just because someone in california is paying 15 for a 8th of shrooms doesn't mean that sum1 else in NYC paying 40 is getting ripped off.

Around here it's about 30/60 for good bud. Mushies are few and far between when they are around up North then they run for 50/100 very expensive.

growing isn't feasible for everyone. Why would you buy weed when you can get a few seeds and grow your own?
Not everyone grows or extracts their own drugs. Yes it's easy, but it's not something everyone can do.
Not everyone wants to risk manufacturing a schedule 1 drug. Or maybe they don't have time for it, or perhaps their lifestyle just doens't permit them to put together a growing operation in their home.
For some of us, growing is easy, and we can include it in our lifestyle easily, but for most people, buying a bag of shrooms on a weekend and having some fun is all they are looking to do. Not manufacture with intent to distribute a scheduled substance.

Out in MA, if you know the right people ( I do) 40 an 1/8th for really good Kind Bud that can be passed of as headies. $20- $25 a gram for headies. I currently get mushrooms for 30-35 an 1/8th. However, in some places headies can go 30-35 a g and KB goes for up to 60, an eight. Mushrooms can go for up to 60 an 1/8th but thankfully I have all the right connections

where I'm at its 10-20$ a gram for some "killer" bud and as far as shrooms i only know of one guy and hes selling them for 30.00 a fucking gram! i just laughed in his face. i think the price for bud is alright but for shrooms, a 1/2 oz should be 50.00 and an ounce should be 100.00. 3.5 grams should be about 25-30% and a single gram maybe 10.00.

shrooms gram and eigths are the same, quarter is usually 40/45
canada rules.
i dunno about that acid claim though, i dont do it personally but i have some friends who do it frequently and from what i hear there IS good acid around, and it isnt really that hard to find.
Getting some clean pills around here is pretty much impossible though

my friends tell me after you do acid (or i guess any drug for that matter) a couple of times you can start to tell wether or not its laced because there are certain things you recognize as being significantly different than the LSD experience or w/e drug you are taking

kind: 200-350 an ounce
shwag: 30-60 an ounce, sometimes decent and completely worth the buy.

I have traveled to many places and the mushrooms price is always the same.
25-35 dollars for 1/8th. NEver more, but occasionally alot less.
I traveled with phish for a year or so.
It was always the same price no matter where you were. So that should give some perspective.
I never tripped at shows but I sure as hell know how much mushrooms cost nation wide(unless we are talking about those laughable shitheads who sell an 1/8th for 50+ dollars, you know, the guys who dont get any buisiness when on the road because they are ridiculous).
The price of weed doesnt have too much to do with the price of mushrooms unless you dealer is generally just a ripoff scumbag or has been ripped off by a rip off scumbag etc etc.
Here in chicago, dank weed is 40-60 dollars per eighth and its insane weed.
If you are buying what I would simply call imitation/but nice dank weed it ranges from 30-50 per 8th.
4 years ago, at blues fest I bought 12 grams of AMAZING cubes for 20 per 4 grams. It was supposed to be 3 eighths but it was more than that.
Thats a really fine price. Its not a give away and it sure as hell is no rip off.
It sucks that some people get so screwed down the line that they screw other people even harder than they were screwed.

There is some sort of a bottom line.
The top price for a hit of lsd for those who deal with the real lsd land is 7 dollars.
If you tried to sell 3.5 grams of shrooms for 40 dollars at any phish show ever, you would likely get atleast a good laugh from the potential customer. Same goes for an 8-9 dollar hit of lsd.
They would probably make fun of you.
35 dollars is the last straw when it comes to mushrooms.

Good prices are still the same on the road.
I, ummmm, knew a guy who grew shrooms for a number of years.
He never sold a 1/8th for more than free-10-20 for friends, and never more than 30 for anyone. He was a ghost. Couldnt get busted.
He was too smart.
He didnt make more money than he should have because he was smart and just wanted to spread the wealth.
Same guy also sold hits of INSANE one hit wonder gels for 4 dollars a piece.

weed is usually about 150 and ounce for mids
220-250 for hydro
headies is rare, but usually like 350-400 an ounce or some craziness, i bought a quarter for 100 recently.
mushrooms are SUPER rare and i bought a half for 150 (ouch right?)
acid is usually impossible to find, but i recently found a source for 100 a 10 strip.

200 an ounce over here for mushrooms or weed.... LOTS of pot dealers, and I mean just about all of em that i know told me they would trade weight for weight as low as an ounce to as high as a few pounds... so i can not wait till my next harvest, as it should be atleast a quarter pound, if not more, AND with tons more on the way. The bigger supplyers here are pricks to, 700 a QP!!!!! 2200 a P!!!!

Contrary to belief, prices are NOT dictated by the area that you live in. Prices are dictated by the idiots that people go through. I live in an area where the prices for mushrooms are $40 an eighth. However, if you have the right connects, it's totally different. I don't pay more than $25 for an 1/8 because I know certain people who aren't dickbags out there just to make money.
The point is... if you're going through some assbag that is going to charge you up the ass then that is your problem. Prices are much lower if you know the right person. It's all about WHO you KNOW. There is technically no standard that is set that you should pay and still think you're not getting "ripped off." If you pay more than $30 for an 1/8 then you're desperate and you need to get yourself out there more and meet someone else; your dealer is ripping you off. Get another dealer.

I agree completely where i live (South of Barrie, Ontario) a gram of weed is 10$... but i know a guy who grows and he hooks me up with an ounce for 100$ of the best weed i have ever smoked..... i cant even buy shrooms where i am.....

Yeah... you have to take into account that every region differs. Everything is either cheap, or more expensive due to the market of the region. Like in the south, where I am.... living here is hella cheaper than most places. A lot of people move here for that reason.
In Memphis, schwag goes for $10 a dime, $20-25 a quarter. $40-45 a half. If your connection is ripping you off, or its just really good weed, your oz. will be $80+.
Shrooms, $20-25 an 1/8th.
Oh my god, acid prices are the worst!!!!!!!!! I don't know about anywhere else, but... Seriously! The thing that makes it so bad, is that all the acid is watered down FUCKING RIDICULOUSLY. It's aggravting. Luckily, my first few times I got reeeeally good shit. Since then it's all been plain white SHIT.

someone was asking about posession charges in canada.
I believe they recently de-criminalized it but i'm not 100% sure. Cops are pretty lax around here though, i had a gram at school when i got caught and they just took it away from me.
A buddy of mine was caught with 2 ounces and a scale and he just finished a plea bargan that got it down to a fine and community service i believe. They were arguing that the scale was to make sure he didn't get ripped off since he was lucky enough to not have any baggies, so the plea bargan meant he plead guilty to posession but not with intent to distribute

Especially when you live in big metropolises. For me though (in DFW) it's usually 15 a g for KB, 20 for good dro or headies. And 350-400 an O for dro or headies.
People usually sell shrooms for 15-25 a gram, but I won't buy it unless it's 10 a g.

My "favorite" excuse for high-priced mushies is that "they're out of season." I really doubt that people are picking wild mushrooms in New York. I'm pretty positive they're grown at home. A kind "don't bullshit me" usually gets a more realistic price.

im from jersey and the prices here are this

around here in CT shrooms go for about 40-55 for an eighth and dank goes for about 60 an eighth which is way overpriced but what are u gunna do location sucks sometimes.
