Coir / Coffee Bulk Question

I recently spawned 6 qt rye jars to 1.5 bricks of coir / 4 qts of spent coffee grounds. This being my first time using coir as a substrate i prepared it like i do when i used it as a casing layer, i expanded it with really hot tap water in a 20 qt stock pot with only enough water to for it reach proper moisture capacity. After that i microwaved pasteurized the coffee grinds and added them to the fully expanded and hydrated coir. Im using a 30gal rubber maid as a FC, after spawning im worried i might of messed up as i didnt really pasteurize the coir. It has been 48 hours since i spawned and the tub is in a area of my house heated to 80 degrees. I am not going to open the lid on it till it has been colonizing for atleast 5 days as to not risk introducing any more potential contams. Should i be worried? Im thinking i have a pretty good ratio using 6qts of spawn to around 16 qts of substrate for the mycelium to take hold pretty fast, but mostly im not worried about bact just mold. I havent grown at my current residence before, but didnt have any contam issues with the jars jars or syringes i made from print.
what do you guys think?
also the jars are multispore but they colonized the rye very agrressively and spent a good few days fully colonized in the jars behind being spawned.
THANKS!

Pasteurize in water, not a micro, though micros work, water is the preferred method because you can closely monitor the internal temp with a them. 140-170 for at least an hour internally, but don't go over 170.
After a multispore jar is 110% colonized, it is one strain genetically.
You don't need 80 degrees for the spawn run, 72 is fine. And don't open it for a week at least. The more you peek, the more contams can land on your coir.
Try an icing layer of spawn on top of the coir, to colonize the top faster.
Add 10% gypsum by volume to your coir sub, and consider cutting the coir with medium grade vermiculite to about 50/50.
Your ratio is fine, less than 1 to 3, you could add more sub to get 6 to 18, or even 6 to 24, but no higher.
All this is just MHO.

You should be fine. I don't like microwaves because they tend to overheat the substrate, partially sterilizing it rather than pasteurization. Good luck. RR
