RogerRabbit has some videos that will serve you much better for growning than most books. However, there are good books out there, but some misinformation exists. Mycellium Running is a good one.

Large_dose, why do you say that the second book is better for me? I'm not completely new to the subject, and want to get into effective casing methods.

Now is that actually in the Mushroom Info section of this board? A link would be helpful, thanks!

Go to youtube and type in something like "RR Video Mushrooms" or "How to grow Mushrooms"
The second book shows pictorials on the PF tek as well as grains.

Asunder, With the first book, you will be neck deep in information overload. If your looking for "EFFECTIVE" casing methods, you might take the previous advice. Don't get me wrong, I think every serious cultivator should own "The Mushroom Cultivator". The thing is that things are explained in ways to cultivate MASS BULK. (I'm not sure that you have a barn in your back yard that you wanted to dedicate to this hobby). Great book though. I like the second book also. It has a lot of the "current" ideas on cultivating. Things have been improved upon since 1983.
