I've been wanting to go back to NY for some time. I had a badass time, but really didn't make it to any of the stuff people usually go to see. Did get to see the chapel of mirrors, that was awesome.

Right on!
The closest I get is during the University semester... government in Australia pays students ~$230 a week for studying.
I organise my week so I only have to attend classes 3 - 4 days, then the other 3 - 4 days I go essentially "live" in Lamington National Park. Only costs me $15 in camping permits, go buy $30 worth of food and chill out.

It's depressing having to go back to the city every single week, but it beats staying in there 24/7.

whats even cooler is this guys backyard. his second love next to camping/ hunting is chopping wood, don't ask. anyway, his entire back yard is walled off with an 8 foot wall of perfectly chopped wood. there is, of course, a wooden fence behind it, but still. he also has a pretty decent garden of some great looking veggies. i never told him but i looked up to him a lot. he found a perfect way to live life with out being bothered by people.

yea,i still love it for the most part. Been doing a lot of piece work on the side lately, always something new. The pedal was never hard for me, it was always filler control. I can put that pedal in any position, left or right foot, but my filler hand sucks if I'm in any real compromising positions, it limits my work to an extent, but whatever.
I can't believe we have that smiley.

is this dude no longer with us?

what's with all the hate for NYC? NYC is a city filled with lots of crap, but it's also filled with energy and life and variety and awesome food and venues and museums and galleries and i mean the list is endless. there's plenty to love about NY.
I personally go to school for photography and assist my brother in law At the Coach (bag's) headquarters on photo shoots.i just realized today that if i worked one week every month for a year, i'd make 52 thousand dollars a year. I'd still have to deduct taxes from that? but dude. that's just working ONE week a month! I can't WAIT to get out of college!

Hahah, that's absolute balls.
Postal service is seriously where it's at... $27.50 an hour, 15% penalty on top of that and you sit around for half the day watching TV.
Any overtime or weekend work, double time + $20 meal allowance.
Public holidays triple time and a half, I was getting ~$100/hr for bludging around new years.

The money isn't the point, it's the fact that it's the most shifty run company EVER.
In an 8 hour shift, I work at MOST 4 hours, usually around 3. The other 5 hours are quite literally spent either eating, playing pool/table tennis, socialising or watching TV.
Then the 3 - 4 hours that you do actually work is so insanely easy... cruise around at your own leisure in a crisp Ford Transit emptying a few red boxes on the side of the road.
Seriously, it's nearly criminal how bullshit this job is.
I only do it 3 months out of the year though, rest I'm at university.

Suprisingly it is It's like an inbred colony in there, everybody is related to someone.
I only got im because my Dad and Uncle work there plus my Godfather is a supervisor.
Everybody from the highest boss to the mailman is in on it and everyone just milks the system... 90% of the nights the supervisors rig the system and everyone clocks off an hour early and goes home... it's so suss.
lol, fucking post, the entire organization is practically non-profit.

I cook in a busy restaurant in town doing prep and line service; it's one of those terrible chain restaurants where the food is second to the atmosphere and the big screen TVs. I had a much better job at a classy French restaurant out of town for a few months but the commute became too much and I quit.

I'm a male escort....
Haha no but I could be as I saw an ad on Craigslist for it. www.UnitedResourceJobs.com
I actually am an assistent Loan Officer. I call up homeowners and try to persuade them to come in and refinance with us or consolidate their other debt by taking out a loan from us to pay it off while getting a better interest rate on the loan itself thus saving them hundreds of dollars!
It's pretty cool, I get my own cubicle and I get great benefits in terms of commission and how many appointments I set.
Plus I work 5-9 during the week and my weekends are open. That way I can get up late and not be late to work as well as get off just in time to party and then be a lazy couch potatoe all weekend while I veg out playing Xbox 360...
I started at 8$/hour and I am currently making 12$/hour with unlimited oppurtunity to advance, all I gotta do is set 12 appts per week and I get an additional 1$ raise.
Pretty sweet diiiggsss...Oh and I get coffee and donuts at work every night.
