Micro pore or trans-pore
    #7847284 - 01/08/08 10:23 AM (16 years, 24 days ago)

Easy enough which is better to use for the holes in the top of my sterlite trays. I have five holes drilled four corners and middle. So which tape should I use.

Thanks in advance

Transpore is plastic so anything that is going to be pressure cooked should not use it.

Apart from that, they are interchangeable.

Well there won't be any pressure cooking of a 25" x 17" tray  So I'll guess I will stick with the micro pore.  Thanks Nibbles lol

I don't care what people say, when you cook micropore tape that bitch welds to those canning lids and is a major pain to remove :P.

I would imagine so.  I don't see why any one would have or feel the need to have it on any thing going in to a pressure cooker.  Yea of course after inoculation.  But what in DA hell would u use it for, and then pressure cook the only thing that goes in my PC is glass, metal rings and tops, and a piece of tyvek mailing envelopes over the metal top.  What did you use it for and then PC it
