im not sure if that type will work, but another option is an American Harvest food dehydrator and you get them a used one very inexpensively on ebay or im sure you could pick one up at you local supermarket

Im an old hand, up until the time I joined here I had used nothing but fanning, ive since switched to a food dehydrator myself. sometimes it would take me 3-4 days before they would be cracker-dry but a fan always gets the job done. unless you are in a real rush, you could just let them finish fan drying.

I got the American Harvest because I had seen it mentioned so many times on this site. Got mine on e-bay for around $15 and you usually get tagged on shipping .... I think the shipping was around $10 ..... so $25 total. I have been very, very happy with it.
Get the one with the adjustable heat setting (most guys run it on the lowest setting).
Also note ... these dehydrators are a series of stackable trays. The trays purchased later tend to be rather expensive. So .... if you do shop for one on e-bay, look for one with as many trays as possible .... 4 would probably be standard and 6 or 8 trays would be killer.
Good luck .... I think you will be pleased with an American Harvest.
Kupa ! .... to answer a previous question .... "Why the exclamation mark?" No idea. I guess I was feeling frisky.

This is the wrong season .... but an air conditioner really dries out the air ... getting them completely, completely dry might be hindered by the ambient humidity ... and finishing them up in an air conditioned room might help.

Check 2nd hand stores for American Harvest food dehydrator's...
I've bought probably 20 in the past 6 to 7 years...
and they are almost always under $6.99
Quite a few of them were in like NEW condition...
the people that owned them probably didn't use them much.
I like to find broken ones too...
for the spare racks!~
New racks are expensive...
so when you can get a broken dehydrator that has 4 racks or more for 99 cents...
thats a great deal!~
So check those 2nd hand stores...
unless your in the greater Seattle area...
cause I probably have already been there!~
