 Way to hot?

I'm about to grow some myco-bags under my bed. I think it is a perfect spot for them. The only bad thing is that it gets up to 90-95 degrees sometimes under there. Does anyone know a method that would cool down the bags a bit? Maybe put a fan under there and have it on 24/7?

well. put a damn thermometer down there with a fan. I dunno how hot it's going to be.

I think it's a little warm. i'd try to get it down 10 degrees or so.

Put them somewhere else. Sounds pretty inconvenient, why bother to find a solution? Find a cooler place. There has to be other options. Keep them at optimal temps and forget about cooling them.

Fans do not cool down the air temp. It merely feels cooler when the moving air evaporates moisture from your skin.

I can't think of any other place other then the frig to put them in to keep them cool... Maybe if I bought a big plastic box and put thermal pads in there on and off to keep the temp down. That could work.
I have a book self also... It has two cabnits towards the bottom that are about a few feet tall I might store them in there and find a way to make it into a terranium...

What are thermal pads? Are they like cold compresses or something? You could blow a fan over a wet towel for some evaporational cooling. You could put ice packs or ice water under there and blow a fan across them. All of these methods may work but would be a pain in the ass to maintain. It's a lot easire to heat things up than cool them down I guess. God bless A/C!

find somewhere else to grow. if you can't think of som4ewhere else right now then wait until you do. any grow attempts at those temps will be extremely dissappointing at best. wait and do it right.
get a shoebox and put your mycobags in it to grow and keep it in your closet. it will fit in by it being a shoebox in your closet and keep temps cool by being in a dark place
