poppy pods addiction mybe(some other problems too)...
    #7843843 - 01/07/08 02:42 PM (16 years, 25 days ago)

I'm thinking of buying some poppy pods.

The thing is, about 2 and half months ago i said i wouldn't touch them again because i was starting to get addicted to them.
Went through mild withdrawls.

I'm just having a hard time coping with shit right now, schizophrenia/acute depression, i feel pretty suicidal most of the time and i just want to get some poppy pods to at least have some kind of good feeling. In the back of my mind i think of taking lots of pods, enough to OD but i think it be hard to OD on pods.

My body aches, I've not slept properly in ages, I'm starting to really not give a fuck about anything anymore, like getting better, every time i start to feel OK i end up ill again so what's the fucking point.

yeah, i know its a total :emo: post but i don't care.

I guess this is just a rant on how I'm feeling right now, I'll probably end up ordering some anyway

Have you tried getting help for your schizophrenia?

if its been two and a half months since you last used poppy pods and you only went through mild withdrawals, you really arent addicted anymore, but I probably would not go back into them if you have a potential to become addicted to them.

yeah, I'm receiving some help, not on any meds though, i tried zyprexa and it made me sleep to much and slowed my brain down too much and I'm skeptical of meds anyway.
I can't be bothered with the hassle of trying different meds then trying a different one until i find one that "works", but maybe I'll have to.

It's the depression that kills me the most, it starts to feel really physical too because i can't sleep and my body ends up hurting.

I just want a break from this constant pain :nonono:

Don't go the way of Kurt Cobain, dude. I feel for you but I honestly don't know what to suggest.

Beneath, I too am going through the exact same things you mention above. I feel sick and schizophrenic, anxious and tired most of the time, suicidal even. I too am an opiate addict addicted from years of abuse of any opiates you could think of. I'm not sure how I can help you out because i feel like I'm at the same point as you are. However I feel comforted that other people are going through the same things as I am and I hope you can take some comfort in that fact too. Feel better and try and do things that will take your mind off of the beautiful numbing effects of opiates.

Drugs wont end anything you're going through. You probably already know that, but still.

Find some meds that work, they wont cure you but they can stop the symptoms enough that you can get healthy on your own.

first, it would be very, very hard to od from pods, because your body will begin rejecting (vomiting) up the liquid et al. before you could reach an unsafe level

just keep in mind that this is only going to be a temporary fix. i've been craving opes so bad lately because i've been down on some shit and am trying to sober up for a little while.

dealt with some mild withdrawals and got close to the edge of 'addiction', but ran out and made myself not order more. if you do order more, don't use for more than 2-3 days straight with some time inbetween usage cycles

Taking opiates WILL exacerbate these problems. What you describe is a typical reaction to stopping opiates. That means opiates reverse those problems well but will make them worse than before when you run out. I wouldn't fuck with it. Well, I would, actually, but I don't reccomend it.

Opiates as an anti-depressant is great for the short term, but in the long term you end up much worse than you started out. I doubt anyone here will deter your final decision though, so do what you want.
