Religion is a tool used to govern large groups of people and take their money. What do you want to discuss?

He needs a haircut. Bald on top, shoulder length in the back looks really dumb.

He's funny though.

I worship the totality of the Universe, in all of it's guises, exactly like it is.

well...I was looking more towards the idea that 'comedy' (in general) is really nothing more then people pointing out the obvious to audiences who are apparently too stupid to figure these things out their own...but every comedic skit has a 'moral' behind it - and I congratulate you on being coherent enough to discover this one for yourself  :smirk:

Then why didn't you just state that in your first post? You're talking about observational comedy, not all comedy is necessarily observational.

I like to have visualizations with my act, and that clip just so happened to be what I was listening to when I considered that that's basically all stand up ever is anyway...

besides - I was curious if anyone else would catch on to the same thing themselves, without needing me to point it out for them  :yesnod:

You can't really expect someone to just think the exact same thing as you after watching a video. I mean this is only ONE Muppet, a rare breed.

Funny thing is, George Carlin and all the members of the audience will be dead eventually, all in their own time.

Also,
