http://fungifest.com/2008/2008-muscoda-mushroom-festival.html
Muscoda has the title of “Morel Capital of Wisconsin.” A celebration of this woodland delicacy, The Morel Mushroom Festival, is held every spring the weekend after Mother’s Day. With the average Morel weighing just a few ounces, the festival committee had purchased and sold over 2000 pounds of the woodland treat during one two-week period preceding the festival.
During the second weekend of February, the Lions Club hosts the Muscoda Open Dart Tournament, which attracts dartists of all skill levels for two days of competition. On Friday, the annual coed tournament is held beginning at 7:00pm in St. John’s Gym on Wisconsin Avenue. On Saturday, the main team event occurs with 100-150 throwers arriving for the all day affair. The event has grown from a small, local tournament in 1995 to its current stature as one of the premier dart competitions in southwestern Wisconsin.
This year’s event will be held 17-18 May. Visit the site to learn more!
Muscoda is famous for there ripe and lush morel season among numerous other delicious edible fungus's. So why not have a gathering among shroomerites during one of the primest times of the season. Refer to the above thread for more details. ! and feel free to PM me with any questions.

With the average Morel weighing just a few ounces
how can that possibly be true
a few ounces is like 80 something grams
that would mean that the average morel in wisconsin is about a foot tall

i guess you can say i was being overly creative with plastic chairs and marshmellows, the lady who was renting the place was not too happy about it
then there was the brownie incident at alpine valley
the bungie jumping incident
the paul bunion breakfast resturant incident
you guys make a lot of cheese over there, really good microbrews too

yes, i have been to one of those places a few times, i am not sure if i ever ate food there
the wisconsin people at the resturant told me and my friends we had to leave.. apparently it is a family resturant ran by people from wisconsin.. apparently they do not like girls doing cocaine at the tables, and hung over hippie antics who eat blotter for breakfast, i will not mention. i was probably the latter as i have only tried cocaine a few times and do not care for it.. but i was in wisconsin for another alpine valley concert years ago with no incidents i can remember.. actually scratch that, but i think i can go to a morel incident without any incident, as long as the wisconsin people at the festival do not eat too much cheese that day i might be ok
