So my FC has been a steady 75-76 while waiting for pins, Now that the cakes have all pinned the temperature went to 78 is this heat created by my little mushrooms. Nothing has changed in my house, the room is the same temp. as before. I even aimed a fan at the FC in hopes to cool it down. What should I do will 78 be okay ?

Relaxxxxxx, you are OK. Only worry about constant over 85 and below 65 I would say.

I just need a doobie lol, I was afraid that it raised and I couldn't get it to lower any that it might go up to 80+ and I might destroy them.

Okay so this is what I was worried about, it seems that the more mushies popping up is raising the temp. again. There were at least 5 more 1 inch muchrooms today and the temp raised 4 degrees. I still have not changed my thermostat or anything for that matter. I turned on a fan in hopes to cool it back down to 76 but no luck. How hot can it get before it causes damage to them ?

Read the posts from last summer. Cubensis will fruit well into the 90's, although the quality of the fruits is lower. 80+ certainly won't hurt them. RR

I figured some heat would be okay since they are a tropical mushroom, in fact at this temp. it almost seems they are growing bigger and faster. Of course without a control it could as well just be one kick ass cake.
Thanks, DP

Yes, optimal fruiting temperature for cubes is 74-78 F so you're still within the optimum range.

Well it's in the 80's now :/ But alot of them doubled in size since this morning. So I'm just gonna let them be since their doing so good.

They should still fruit fine in the 80's. Keep track of your humidity though if you've got a humidity gauge. Hot air can hold more water and lowers the RH.
