bursting stems( pics added)

what causes this? i have a few small fruits that have the stems blown apart so any in-site to what causes it http://

Explosives? You'll have to be specific or show a picture. Stems often split on large fruits from rapid growth. In addition, contaminants such as verticillium can often result in splitting stems.

im not anybody whos opinion on this should matter, but is you humidity ample? I've heard of fruits cracking due to a dry climate, but have no first hand experience with it

Dude, don't degrade yourself too much :wink:

Splitting stems only appeared to me, when the particular mushroom got very big. I never had the problem of a too dry climate, but I know that caps often split when it's too dry. Never heard of splitting stems  due to that matter, though...

BTW: Kick ass looking fruits!

What strain is it??

The pictures look fine. Sometimes they just do that. I've seen a lot of wild mushrooms that do the same thing, so it's normal. I don't see any signs of contaminants.

Some of my fruits seem to do that in later flushes. I am wondering if some nutrient isn't missing after the first heavy flush. I found them really quick to dry though :wink:
