Supernucleus II - Growing Reishi without laminar flow - an attempt (with pics)

The original Supernucleus is growing OK, but I'm thinking in improve the rye/paper contact surface, in order to allow the mycelium to reach the paper easily. This time I use 1 cm square cardboard pieces. As usual, i soak rye in coffee, this time only 12 hs because I'm lacking time. Hope endospores are germinated and are ready for give their souls in my PC.

Then mix the cardboard and rye in the same jar, and PC.

In this way, we got spawn and fruiting substrate in the same jar. Once fully colonized, we can open the jar and let fruit in the FC. Notice I Ieave space between the lid and the foil, in order to allow steam to condense in foil and NOT in the polyfill filter.
appendix: SuctoSpore TM
This is my LC jar. I made it with a syringe port and a tube that reachs the bottom of the jar, in order to inject spores and aspirate mycelium easily. I'm hope this idea could be useful.

Filled with 8% honey

Sweet. Does cardboard have nutes? I saw on Mythbusters that a box of cereal isnt nutritious.
