I have a problem

I don't spend money. Its almost like I can't spend money. I may spend $10, sometimes $20 in a week, but the rest of my paycheck gets saved and I have no living expenses (moved in with the parents after college).
Well, I do have this plan to start a business by the end of summer and I will need definite $$ to throw down on a retail property rental, snazzing the place up, and inventory, licenses etc. So, my frugal spending habits are a good thing for saving for this kind of thing...I just wonder if these habits will make it difficult to start the business. Part of me feels like I'm denying myself now so I can spend when it counts.
Anybody else tight fisted to the point of it being a fixation, or a problem?

I have had this problem as my parents were the same and passed it on.
One tip I have heard about running your own business is "always pay yourself first"

Society encourages so much consumption that it can distort your view of reality. But I wouldn't consider frugality a problem unless you're compulsively checking your bank balance and denying yourself necessities. On the contrary I think it's perfectly sensible to focus on long-term fiscal security rather than acquiring material distractions. Financial independence isn't just about making money, it's also about not wasting money. Some people struggle their entire life with that.
