You probably do not need a 750w psu and you may want to look into getting a single 2 gb stick (not really, you'll get a new computer by the time you need that much RAM).

Did you read the "Cons" section for the page on the motherboard?

Just two PCI slots isn't enough for me.
My board has three, and even that barely suffices.

The other PCI-e slots will get some hardware, eventually. It's not that big of a deal.

Wow, thats gonna be a pricey computer! I assume you are a big gamer. You got a small hard drive and only 2GB of RAM? Thats fine, but its not ultra high end like the rest of your components.

320 gigs is more than enough for now I think, plus I'm going to use my current hard drive with the system as well. I was told I should go for 4 gigs of RAM, so I think I'll do that. I was also told to go for the quad core CPU instead of the duel one for the same price. As for the PCI slots, I'm only going to need one for the sound card, and anything else I get will be PCI-E I'm guessing. Thanks for the comments so far.

Cool, just a note: What you have listed is a 250 GB not 320 GB. Right now, the sweet spot (as in cheapest cost per GB) is with 500GB drives.

Just remember that PCI-Ex is only effective for block device cards (i.e. SATA expansion, etc.)

Unless you plan on running a 64-bit OS, then you don't need more than two gigs of memory.

Ah, you're right. Even so, I just can't see myself using that much memory. I can sleep well knowing that when, if ever, I run out of memory it will be cheaper as opposed to getting more now.

I'm not familiar with any of that. I was perfectly content with PCI and AGP slots

I was told Vista uses like a gig just idling, but I'm fine with not spending an extra 80 bucks.

Doesn't XP have an upper limit on RAM at around 3gigs?

I would also opt for a quadcore.

It's the computer's BIOS that sets the limit at 3 Gigs for 32-bit systems.
The range from 3 to 4 gigs is reserved for hardware.
When your computer has more than 3 gigs, the extra RAM has to start at the 4 Gig point and go upward, thus being out of range for 32-bit systems.
