ok i just got this fucking hair up my ass.. If you put a small house plant in your Grom chamber (assuming it is big enough) caould you eliminat air exchanges??

Yea I think it is possible, but it also brings in contaminants so you would have to sterilize the plant somehow, to me it just seems easier to use an air pump or even easier to just fan it once or twice a day.

You would have to fill the grow chamber completely with plants for there to be enough plants to do it. Then the conditions for optimal C02 usage by the plants wouldn't be possible to grow mushrooms in (light, dry and windy) and you'd have no room left anyway.

You mite get contames from the plant, from my expierence air exchange
is not that important with cubies even cased, poke a hole in the side of
the rubermaid by the top corner an stick the hose threw about 4inches
aim the tube to the side wall an that will move the air good enough.PEACE
