azurescens on brf cakes / colonization time ???

ok so it seems a lot of people dont like ppl posting stupid questions on here and whatnot lol but im curious ... ! can azuresces be inoculated successfully on brf and how long for complete colonization if so ? understandably they would then need to be somehow transfered to a wood base substrate ... but is this initial inoculation procedure possible ?

Yes. You can grow azurescens mycelium on BRF cakes.

Works perfectly! Although they take about a week to germinate, it doesn't take themm long to colonize. Mine were perfectly colonized after about two weeks. Very agressive mycelium!

was that from a spore inoculation, or liquid culture?

This is good to know, i would like to try that strain, though do you still have to spawn it to wood based stuff?? or can u fruit from a brf cake.
There is however the option of using sawdust instead of verm, i believe that this is done for shitake.

I inoculated from a normal syringe, so no LC. And yeas, you do have to spwan that the substrate to soaked wood chips. It won't fruit from a BRF cake!

hey bro, did you make the syringe from a print or did you buy a syringe that was already clean? i have a print but am woried about making a syringe because the package said it was collected from a wild shroom and i have no means to isolate it as of yet. i really dont want to waste the spores on a failed grow either.

veda, i am pretty sure they need wood. I do not think there is enough goodies in the grain for them

thats a possibility just a thought, id would be easy anough for me to spawn them to some wood substrate thought. But susbtiting the verm for sawdust is an option, i know this can work for shitake.

I made it from a wild print. I also made syringes from self picked wild Ps. Cyanescens and never had a problem with contamination.
