My 1997 Honda Accord did the EXACT same thing to me. I was living in the middle of Atlanta at the time and I had to get it fixed immediately or I would have gotten my car stolen or looted =/

Around here, I'm always seeing people drive their cars around with Saran Wrap for windows. Not very secure, but heck - when you have to drive, what choice do you have?

awww get your window fixed by an expert soon or anyone with connections because duck taping it is not going to help at all. You wouldn't want anything to freeze in your car nor you to fall sick. Good luck

That happens to every car it's usually the rotor, the piece alone on my car was $200 so I said fuck that I just had them put it back up for me I just can't roll it down, unfortunately if you get pulled over some cops get real pissed. It happened to me and the cop started reaching for his gun yelling at me to roll the window down I was yelling back at him telling him it won't go down the bastard just keep yelling at me and made me get out of the car, I was also doing a 100 mph on the highway. There were no other cars around at the time so it seemed like an alright idea.

You wana talk about car troubles LOL ,,, I had a 93 eagle vision that I bought with a dead windshield wiper motor,,, went around with shoe strings tied to the wipers for a couple weeks till I got that fixed,,, only for the a piece of the assembly to brake soon after and I was stuck leaving the passenger wiper in the middle of the windshield so it would wipe the drivers side of the window,,, ohh and not to mention that the accual wiper was duct taped onto the wiper arm and the windshield was cracked to fuck
Then after that the heater broke somehow and it was stuck on full blast all the time and the faster you would go the hotter it got, I tried taking the fuse out but that didn't work... at first it didn't bother me cause it was the winter ,,, but then as soon as spring came the driver side window wouldn't roll down and I was stuck getting roasted for a couple months...
Also the car was loud as fuck cause the catalytic converter was plugged so I had to keep it in high rpms or else it had no power and would stall, and there were holes in the exhaust and muffler ,,, you didn't see any smoking coming out of the rear of the car, It all came from underneath it
On top of that I had to replace brakelines 3 times and the gas line once and I only had this car for 6 months lol

Now that I look back there was alot more wrong with that car the I first remembered haha,,, the ball joints in the front were fucked so it kinda felt like the wheels were gonna fall off ,,, and all 4 tires were tottaly wore down,,, the stereo was broke and wouldn't come out so I had a wire coming strait from the battery to a cdplayer I had in the glovebox that didn't close,,, the front end got all crunched up and there was duct tape holding the headlights in cause I slid into the back of a garbage truck,,,, and on top of everything else that was wrong with that car the interior was coated in drywall mud and dust

That's an easy fix. Take off the inner door panel and you will be able to slide the window up. As for replacing the motor, you'll be able to see it when you're in there.
