Invitro Contamination with chronic tek

hey, if one were to follow the chronic 007 invitro tech wouldnt there be a contamination problem? i was just wondering if it would get contams through the 4 breathing holes if it were just placed on a shelf in a closet. if not what prevents it from happening. help please, thanx

does this one call for a verm layer? if so that'll keep most of them out.

a colonized cake is resistant to contams generally,
but one could always place some type of filter [polyfil] over the holes to prevent germs from getting in.

I've been doing the chronic tek about 4 months now and I would say the contamination rate is the same or lower than you would get using a straight pf-tek

There is no misting and no fanning with the chronic tek and I'm not saying you will get better shrooms using the chronic tek but it is a lot less work

Basically the chronic tek gives you the same amount of shrooms with less work and it cuts about a week off from the time of innoculation until first harvest

I do use 1.5 x 1.5 inch pvc connectors instead of 2 x 2 inch ones they are readily available at home depot. The 2 inch ones seem a little big when the cakes shrink after flushes.

I've grown just over 100 grams of shrooms using the pf-tek and over 400 grams using the chronic tek

I myself can't go back to a straight pf-tek cause the chronic tek is too easy
