If evaporation is a pinning trigger then how can it happen at 100% humidity?

Maybe a stupid question with a million stupid answers.
It seems most advice centers on 100% Rh throughout the entire cycle.
During the pin set, perhaps one should allow the casing to continuously evaporate, but during growth maintain 100% humidity.
Maybe during pinset a cycle of 80-99% humidity should be achieved via periodic ultra sonic misting, followed by a period of slow evaporation almost to the point of drying the very top of the casing layer slightly, followed again by a nice misting to glisten the verm up.
One could double or triple the frequency of the misting after pin set is complete to maintain as close to 100% Rh as is possible at all times during fruit growth.

Your humidity is never going to be exactly 100% all of the time. You are fanning, condensation is happening, etc.

Yes but you miss the point, which is the question of whether 80% Rh is better at triggering pins than 95+.
Hell, what if you tried a drought tek, with the Rh dropping drastically twice per day for an hour.
Would that induce a good pin set?
Then you could keep Rh at 95+ during the fruit maturity cycle.

This might be useful.
Also, ever noticed how RR recommends that after a flush you don't mist your cakes for a few days and then dunk and re-roll?
