Ron Paul excluded from FOX News candidates forum

Ron Paul said the decision to exclude him from a debate on Fox News Sunday the weekend before the New Hampshire Primary is proof that the network "is scared" of him. "They are scared of me and don't want my message to get out, but it will," Paul said in an interview at a diner here.
"They are propagandists for this war and I challenge them on the notion that they are conservative." Paul's staff said they are beginning to plan a rally that will take place at the same time the 90-minute debate will air on television. It will be taped at Saint Anselm College in Goffstown.

Many supporters of Dr. Paul's have asked whether he has been excluded from the candidates forum to be broadcast by Fox News on January 6, 2008 in New Hampshire.
According to the New Hampshire State Republican Party and an Associated Press report, Republican presidential candidate and Texas Congressman Ron Paul will be excluded from an upcoming forum of Republican candidates to be broadcast by Fox News.
"Given Ron Paul's support in New Hampshire and his recent historic fundraising success, it is outrageous that Dr. Paul would be excluded," said Ron Paul 2008 campaign chairman Kent Snyder. "Dr. Paul has consistently polled higher in New Hampshire than some of the other candidates who have been invited."
Snyder continued, "Paul supporters should know that we are continuing to make inquiries with Fox News as to why they have apparently excluded Dr. Paul from this event."
EDIT: Did not see the similar thread posted earlier but will leave this one as it specifically addresses Dr. Paul's exclusion from the forum.

fuck that.
i'd put him in there just to get ratings at least. Ron Paul stirs the pot and draws a crowd at least.. if not to listen to (mostly if not all) true conservative ideals.
Ron Paul FTPFTW (for the presidency fuck the world)

Evidently one of the excuses Fox News is using is that the stage is too small for six candidates.

Their attitude will probably change if he places well in the New Hampshire primary, and I think he will.

It's dumb, but it is their decision to choose who they want on the debate.

he was excluded from a sit down post debate forum with Wallace, not the ABC debate in NH.
The Situation Room on CNN just went to bat for Paul against Fox calling it a bad move on Fox's part.
Check it out. They gave props to Paul going into NH too!!! I sent CNN a big thank you for this piece.

do u think the reps really allow the networks to determine who, and who is not, an acceptable candidate????
The sorry fucking GOP is probably arranging this themselves!!

Yeah, its pretty shady, considering Ron did better than Guiliani in Iowa... this info has been out for at least a week (fox excluding Paul).
Honestly, this is probably only going to help Ron Paul, its not like if he WAS there it would help him that much. The better help is this story, who cares if he is at the Fox debate I suppose.
"Fair and Balanced" LOL!

This is probably helping him more than it will hurt him. He's getting a bit of national press off of it.

Ron Paul is senile. We\'ve seen enough of this clown. Its time he\'s sent off to a nursing home or insane asylum.

(to position the anointed one for the nomination.)
"The New Hampshire Republican Party has quit "with regret" as a co-sponsor of tomorrow night's nationally televised GOP forum on FOX News."
"In a press release, state Republican Party chairman Fergus Cullen said, "We believe all recognized major candidates should have an equal opportunity to participate in pre-primary debates and forums. This principle applies to tonight's debates on ABC as well as Sunday's planned forum on FOX. The New Hampshire Republican Party believes Congressmen Ron Paul and Duncan Hunter should be included in the FOX forum on Sunday evening. Our mutual efforts to resolve this difference have failed."
Good move GOP.

Considering how he debated tonight, Fox has done him a favor.
