Its a Sears 10 gal humidifier from the 60's. Only thing wrong with it was the float was stuck, otherwise it works great. Think I'll be able to get above 80% rh with it?

I am sure it would keep up with a Cool Mist, but is it as large as it looks?

If you're not looking for bulk you should try reducing the 10 gallon to a 2 gallon and then making the inside of the box the fruiting chamber. Would be stealth as hell. You may have to do some extra tweeks though like lining the inside with plastic and installing a small light.
i love finding old shit like that and turning it into something useful

yes its huge and blows out a lot of air. My room is now currently 72RH with it. Hopefully it will raise it up to 80 RH. If not i'm going to get a cool mister to bump it up and so I don't have to mist anything. My FC room is about 10'x10' so its not a lot of area to have to humidify.

your going to want rh higher than 80% anyways. unless your fruiting pans. i think they like lower rh levels if i remember right.
having 2 humidifiers running in the same room is a waste i think. get a martha and just put that big one in there on a timer a nd see what happens.

From the basement? Make sure you clean that whole thing(including all the insides) very well.

That's not a vaporizer is it? It's not heating the air, right?
If it is, you'll want to make sure you keep temps under control.

I want the entire room to at least 80% because I have oysters and lion's mane on straw logs that I want to fruit without having to use any plastic sheeting/chamber to keep humidity. I can get many more logs at one time fruiting in the open air. The psylocibes in my room will still have to be sheeted with plastic or chambered.

That's a way cool idea, I think you are on to something, patent a design and make millions!

Looks like I'm able to get the room up to a consistent 75%rh with the humidifier alone. Not bad...
