i've notice for the last couple of years that im starting to go bald. it runs on both sides of my family and my oldest brother is 29 and it has really hit him.
im 23 years old.
does anyone here know what products work for hair loss? i've read a little bit and found out that most are scams. the only one that looks like it works is Metamucil.
has anyone had any experience with any?

isn't Metamucil a dietary fiber supplement?

i only know this because my brother takes it. yeah, it works for sure ... at least as far as poopies go.

I'm 22 and I'm a baldie too. :raises hand:
It runs in my family, plus I'm sure stress plays a HUGE part. Mine's going front to back. It's really starting to thin out and I can only use the "duck ass" hairstyle for so long before it's sloppy looking. I'm not going to try creams or any of that shit, and I sure don't have the money for implants, so I'm just going to shave my head. It really sucks, but I'm going to try my best not to let it bring me down. Lucky for me I'm a hat person, and always have been.

Well, first off, Metamucil is a fiber supplement, not a hair regrowth formula. I think you're thinking of Rogaine, which you could try, but it doesn't work for everyone, I'm afraid.

Rogaine works, and it's OTC. Not sure how expensive it is. It'll probably replace your money with hair.

I had a friend who swore by Rogaine (sp?). It won't make dead follicles come back to life, but it will stop them from dying (prevent further baldness).
Honestly though, I have been going bald since I was your age (I am now 36) and I have never found it to be an impediment when trying to score jobs, pussy, drugs, etc. Just be confidant about yourself and you won't have to shell out for expensive shampoo!

That's what I'm hoping. I mean I tend to win over friends, jobs, and ladies with my personality and sense of humor more than anything. After all, I've been chunky all my life (up until recently) and that's really doing a TON for my self esteem.

Shave it off when it starts looking weird. I'm 25 and i buzzed mine for the first time about a year ago,, it took a week to adjust to it but now it's fine. I think most people start at a 2 cut then go down to a 1.
If it's going it's going,, but honestly, if you get past your vanity it's not bad at all.

Mine is thinning too. From the front to back. I've got unmanagable hair anyways. Needless to say, i've always been a hat person. I'm pretty fucking young too. It's bullshit. Maybe i'll use the rogaine that I have.

I'm not even 20 and I'm balding. My friends tried to crack on me for it when they first noticed, but then they realized they noticed because I buzzed my head, so obviously I don't care. They gave that up. Doesn't bother me, although it's only been a problem for like a year, and I have the rest of my life to deal with it so it'll probably bother me down the line. Until then, oh well.

im not balding but have naturally thin hair. a couple years ago i read an article in mens health about shamppos that help with this the first one was some stuff with seaweed extract in it that you buy over the internet and it was very exspensive. but the runner up was lore'l vive for men daily thickening and ive been using it for 1 1/2 years and i can truly see a difference. but its not going to help grow new hair of course.

I have friends that use Rogaine and that Propecia pill shit, doesn't seem to help them. It's genetic and that's that.
However, being bald these days is considered cool and sexy by some. When I was a wee lad a bald person was an outright freak.

I'm not so worried about the fact that my hair is thinning it's just that I got these ugly as fuck moles on my dome.
