LC to cardboard
    #7831238 - 01/04/08 09:13 AM (16 years, 28 days ago)

well. i have been having problems with my LC's and contams. i find them once they go to my WBS jars. im trying to figure out what im doing wrong without wasting my time.

so i figured cardboard would be the way to go. prepare it as you can find through a search. then can i just suck up my mycelium from my LC, and inject just a bit (id make sure i could see the mycelium on it) but not to over wet it. then i guess id put it in a half pint jar to stay clean...im kinda unsure about that. where do you incubate this?

and is sucking up boiling water and shooting it out 5 times "sterile"

i just cant figure out where im going wrong!

Testing it on agar would also be easy.

No...that's just sanitized. A bacterial endospore could survive that short duration.
