I think Rumble is on its way to being the "free speech" Youtube. David Pakman is on it, now and it works pretty well. Not sure what their service provider is or anything or if anyone could "cancel" them, or whatever, but they seem to be taking a lead over the others.

I was thinking of probably just rolling over into SPY when I reach a goal and sell but now I’m thinking SPY is too heavy into the technology sector and needs more energy sector

Question for the field? Is SPY a good place to tuck money away long term?

Gold looks bullish.
Breaking out of a long term pattern on the daily and weekly chart
Possibly forming cup and handle on a zoomed out weekly
Could be a long hold there if support is gained above the breakout

There has been so much talk about Russia and Ukraine over the past month+, that I would suspect most of the conflict should be priced in by now. There would still likely be a knee-jerk selloff if/when a major invasion takes place, but so long as it is contained to Ukraine and doesn't drag additional Euro interests into harm's way, it will probably settle out rather quickly, and in a few months time be a relative non-issue. Afterall, it's clear the US doesn't want to be dragged into a more complex war, and I'm pretty sure Europe would prefer to avoid it as well, although they'll need to keep on their toes since allowing Russia to muscle in will likely only embolden them to continue such operations. One of the bigger issues I see as longer term fallout, relates to Euro's dependency on Russian gas and whether sanctions may (likely only in part) halt that provision. This is why we have seen oil and energy in general doing very well, as fuel for a major landmass may need to find alternate sourcing as a stopgap, and that alternate sourcing will stress the supply/demand balance globally.
All in all, this fuckin' sucks for Ukraine... wish they pushed harder to get into NATO when they had the chance.
But I don't think it'll be a catastrophic market event, outside of the ripple effects from the energy sector... unless of course the "west" does decide to truly fight Russia. That would be fucking crazy.

Do you think this will help OXY and PBR?

I'm not particularly qualified or in the mind state to do individual issue analysis... but a quick glance at OXY shows it roughly 46% above it's December lows ~$27. Recall that the market is a forward pricing mechanism. If you're just trying to get into the oil patch now, you're pretty late. And if you are that late, you'd be better off sticking with the integrated majors who have the infrastructure to capitalize on price movement without as much development risk, like CVX and XOM, both of which offer a better than 4% annual dividend yield to help cushion the volatility risk of the stock. OXY is pretty small and has practically no dividend, so I wouldn't really go there myself (again, haven't looked into the deep deets on that issue). PBR is a little more interesting with an apparent 14% yield, but that seems unsustainable. An article regarding failed drilling efforts to find solid resources in the Brazilian market also makes me wonder...

I check PBR everyday. It’s never dropped to where I want to buy which is 5.

I did my first “day trade” this morning.
I bought 2g worth of Crowd Strike stock and sold it for a $90 profit less than two hours later.

My OXY is still rising.
I remember how hard it was to earn $100 in one day as a prep cook so that was my goal. But when it went from being like $95 on the day to $90 I though fuck it. $90 for clicking two buttons. I’ll take it.
I don’t believe in checking what could’ve been. I made money. I was going to sell if it dropped 1%.
I’m thinking about trying it again next on something with 4g just for one day.
If I’m stupid af crucify me here. I’d rather get whipped with words than money. I’ve been slowing building to 10g that I feel like I can “afford to lose”
Another two grand in and that’s my limit for this stage.

I'd be a bit cautious and maybe stick to only trading with a set dollar amount such as $1000 or something for a while.
If you're just starting out then those lessons and losses will be much more forgiving trading 1k vs 4k
Just my opinion
I think it would be easier to get emotionally attached to a larger amount of money and make mistakes you otherwise might not make, but again, maybe that's just me
