Looks like it has potential.  Could start buying here, with a hard stop at $1.25, add to position on a close above $1.50.

Didn't quite get the bottom on this one. $1.36 seemed to be it filled at $1.44. U308 projected to boom 2022. Looking for a pop in January if we get some Ukraine/Russia/North Korea nonsense

Nice rebound today, way to kick of 2022. Still thinking of getting a bit more conservative and getting into a fund. AAPL had a really nice run and essentially kept my portfolio balanced while AMZN and BA did all kinds of whacky up and down shit. Just added my contribution for the year and will make some moves tomorrow.

Despite what felt like kind of a shitshow last year I still somehow traded into an overall 12-14% gain. But was a lot of work and time spent not hanging out with my kid so I could read BS articles about why the market sucks one day and is great the next. Will be happy with 6-8% and time to finish Harry Potter .

This one got beaten up bad during the end of year tax-sell off but just made it's way right back up to its regular trading channel. Price targets by analyst are well into 17-19$ range. This also just IPO'd in October. Not on the radar anywhere I can find. Insiders bought the dip up easily when it dropped! These moves are not from retail so you can assume it's large funds/etc.

Here is my current pickups a lot of small caps added and catalyst swing plays!

$DNN - huge catalyst pushing this North Korea launching missiles and what not again.

broke 200MA but couldn't hold cuz of market conditions! This one is gonna be nice!

HUGE Uranium going to squeeze! Kazakhstan supplies almost 50% of world's U308! Government just resigned.

https://www.etftrends.com/uranium-etfs-power-up-on-supply-concerns-in-kazakhstan/

Quote:

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan accepted the resignation of the government in a bid to mollify domestic unrest after mass protests against the surge in the price of fuel turned violent. The country runs on LPG, which previously had a price cap, but on January 1, the government lifted the cap, effectively doubling the cost of the fuel overnight.

I'm seeing news like big tech sell off and market crashing 70-80% because of inflation talk by federal government.  Any thoughts here?

On another note, what do you feel is the bottom for Nvidia NVDA?

Yeah big tech had a sell off and the federal reserve had a pretty hawkish(bad) report about tapering interest rates which is never a good thing. At this point its just becoming the normal. I wouldn't quite worry about a crash but worry about stocks in tech dipping more.

As much as the government and Washington want to say our economy is making all time record highs. That isn't the case for the average investor. Small cap stocks are I believe down nearly 50% from 52 week highs. Seems to be deliberate in my opinion but that's me.

$NVDA looks like it is at a pivot point. It needs to hold this area around ~270$ or its next leg down is 266$ then 238$. If it can hold the line here and gets a positive catalyst it could move to ~297$ .. I don't trade this stock so this is purely based off the technical analysis of the daily chart.

What are your thoughts about plant based food stocks like TTCF and BYND?  I see Sam's Club stocks both company's products.  Usually the displays are stocked.  Is this going to trend in the coming years?

I hear KFC will now have plant based chicken.  Pizza Hut has plant based sausage pizza.

I’ll preference this by saying I don’t know shit.

I’m taking this online class and the professor said by the time you think of something it’s already too late but you know “you can’t win if you don’t enter”

One of my first thoughts is who’s selling soy. Soy is already about as giant as giant can be and the companies selling soy are selling all kinds of shit including chicken. Where are the companies you’re interested in acquiring their ingredients from? Are they established enough to hold on if there’s actually a genuine push to transition away from meat? And the only really important buy low sell high question: Are either one of these companies presently undervalued?

Both of those companies are new af. Tattooed Chef can kiss my ass, no fucking thanks. That looks to me like they could be hanging out at around 5 forever. Beyond Meat looks way better to me. I could see buying that with an exit goal of 120. They bounced twice already.

Others with way more knowledge may comment that my thinking is full of every beginner mistake in the book. To the regular posters on this thread please point out the holes in my thinking so I can learn.

I've tried TTCF a taco cauliflower rice mix.  It was good, but not worth the price.  I haven't bought again.  I mean you're investing in cauliflower...  No thanks.

Another investment I like is Trulieve (TCNNF).  It's not going up in price anytime soon because I don't believe Joe Biden will support legalization on a federal level.  Chuck Schumer wants a deal that is the whole package..legalization at federal level and marijuana companies allowed to get loans from banks.  Trulieve keeps opening new dispensaries and I believe once customers try their products will keep coming back.  So this is a long term hold or invest more later once re-elections happen.

Yeah. Trulieve Is already big but I could see them being the Marlboro of marijuana.

I thought tobacco companies were going to swoop in on weed but I guess not although who knows who owns what.

I invested in an LSD research for depression pharmaceutical thing. It’s been tanking like the Titanic but I’m thinking it’s like a 15 year play. Of course, even if LSD has a medical future who knows who’s going to profit from it so it’s a long long shot. If someone puts a patent on some kind of synthetic psilocybin that could be like what hydrocodone is to the poppy that would be something to invest in.

The big companies are going to wait until it's legalized completely and there are anti-competative regulations in their favor.

Someone asked me about whether or not 2022 had a huge market crash in store.  Figured I'd drop my notes here for your consideration...

I don't really like to prognosticate near-term big moves in the market.  It's largely a fool's errand, as most people who make big calls, do so habitually, are quick to forget last week's call, but will go on ad nauseum about the one or two times they got it right.  Suffice it to say, there are some significant headwinds afoot, but markets, as markets do, tend to climb a wall of worry.  On a historical basis, the markets in general do appear to be overvalued, however given the corner that central banks and governments worldwide have painted themselves into, it would be very difficult to fight the perpetual devaluation of global fiat currencies on longer term time horizons, which in turn serves as a fundamental backstop to risk markets, as money is always seeking yield to grow.

Short term, it is true that there is a tightening cycle before us, and the age old adage "don't fight the fed" is not without merit.  Inflation numbers cannot be ignored at this point, although I'm not sure central banks have the wherewithal to raise rates and pull back on their balance sheet expansion (i.e. open market purchases in support of asset prices in markets such as treasuries and mortgage backed securities) to the extent necessary to really rein in the continued faucet of debt that governments pine for, to fund their powers that be.

And so, on balance, the road ahead for 2022 does appear fraught with a bit more risk, as there will be a lot of lip service and tug-o-waring between inflationary forces and those apparently attempting to fight them.  Ultimately, I believe the status quo will generally prevail, and that you don't really want to have a lot of direct exposure to any currency in and of itself, except for certain cryptocurrencies of course.  Alternatively, parking assets into real estate remains attractive.  Maintaining exposure to equities is probably fine, so long as you know your time horizon.  I wouldn't expect 2022 to provide outsize equity returns after what we witnessed last year.  But an all out market crash?  Eh, maybe?.. but even those are relatively soon forgotten after a few years and the prevailing forces reaffirm themselves.

In a nutshell, I wouldn't invest aggressively here, but I also wouldn't think about parking the bulk of my assets in cash either.

I have an Apple computer and a Lenovo computer.  What's the best application to view RSI line and volume?  Once I build up an emergency fund of 5-6K I will invest more in LCID, NVDA, AMZN and TCNNF.

Can anybody explain to me what the hell hapened to $NAKD?

I bought $800 worth of shares during the hype but lost interest for a few months

Checkd back yesterday and $NAKD is now called $CENN and my initial investment is now worth $70

From what I can find original $NAKD shares have been divided by 15 in relation to a merger

Im using eToro but from what I can see it appears that my several hundred of $NAKD shares have been replaced by 24.9933 shares of $CENN that have been purchased at 33.90.
But the value of CEN shares has never reached that high.
