Spy looks pretty strong atm

Almost looks like a reversal to me

Would love to see a close above yesterdays

Would be very happy just for one last bull run to either close out positions or set losses at more reasonable levels

At this point i was just ready to ride out a full on crash and leave whats in in and even add to it on the way down

But might get lucky and not have to do that

Too early to call

Maybe the stimulus and business reopening can provide some catalyst

NVDA, AAPL, and TSLA continuing to sell off.. Man the first two are stocks I have been really interested in. I would love to buy them even right here but am not sure if its a discount or if there is more selling pressure to come.

All cash, just sitting tight for today.

Incredibly rally today, missed it all in a cash position. Don’t remember markets being so whippy, so I expect there will be another selloff sooner than later. Even then have no idea where to enter right now, am not confident in anything right now

Enjoying the sea, but couldn't help notice the market being rather maniacal.  This type of action tends to be difficult for me to trade.  I like a trending market, and right now we're kind of all over the place.  With this type of action, it's mostly going to be intraday trades for me, or very small overnight positions, until tighter bases can be developed and a more reliable intermediate trend manifests.  Frankly, I'm happy to be away from my desk, as not to be tempted to force trades outside of my comfort zone.

What a great day.  Cannabis bouncing nicely, MARA killing it.  UVXY heading for 8$.

I see oil getting pumped more to come.  My thesis on that is that there are entire countries that depend on that barrel price being $100+.  I believe that creates massive upward pressure on price through market manipulation.  The physical oil 'jam up' that occurred with supplies is now over.

Cannabis bubble still rolling along.  GRWG bouncing back with massive force.  Apparently our fearless leader DFV has 100,00 shares.  I read that on the internet and then didn't further verify but it wouldn't surprise me.  The year chart for a lot of the US MSO operators is pretty insane.  I believe that that there is still some room to grow here.

Also, apparently inflation doesn't exist.

"The year is 2039

The new stimulus is 1 quadrillion

A cup of coffee cost $100

The fed still sees no sign of inflation"

As far as oil i thought there were attacks on huge suppliers causing the spike in price?

Also just to add to that, idk what the market will do but i plan to remain cautious and on my guard.

Sold my shares at 200 and 250. Had some from 45. Of course, I left money on the table. but I'm always late to the party and early to leave.

Sold GME at 300 today, will likely pick up more next time I think its low

Good profits on ZEUS steel but sold a little early

Still very bullish on steel and other raw materials, would love to hear some stock suggestions

Ferro globe is an interesting stock, down on earnings this quarter but if they they get more profit from rising steel prices they could potentially 5x in the future

Hard to recommend stocks for me atm because i dont trust the market.

Seems the correction is reversing but imo its too soon to tell and im not convinced that after the stimulus "runs dry" we wont see a sell off even though the overall trend is still an uptrend as far as i can tell. This correction has caused me to take a step back and evaluate.

Suddenly discovered there is more than one direction when at first i had not seen.

Im still watching everything on my list i posted a bit back and tech seems to be regaining strength but metals seem to be performing and holding decent

RS is up around 14% over the last 2 weeks or so but might be due to correct

I personally feel like sitting out and seeing what the market decides to do

If i were trading right now id be taking trades on metals and setting strict stop losses or id be investing in long term holds which for me would most likely be the energy sector and tech

Maybe a couple cannabis stocks

To be quite honest, i would have benefitted more off putting every dollar into crypto.

A lot more.

My only interest in stock atm is learning to trade better and long term hold investments

MP is the only stock i have bought that has performed well and has held its own. And it is also the top stock of mine in terms of what i see as long term growth and potential.

**at the same time when i think about it, a lot of tech and a lot of stocks in general are at very low prices offering some high upside potential in the even that the market does continue marching uphill and the stimulus upon us. Add in the opening of the economy.

Idk im just personally very unsure and confused and im already new as is without having to try to navigate what i find to be rather turbulent waters...

What a tricky market.  Levitation station.  The short term series of lower highs followed by the temporary break on the SPY's 50 day was deep enough to fully shake me out.  That Friday bounce closed strong enough that it would have been worth putting some positions back on, but I just didn't see a move to new highs in the cards such as we've seen.  I even cancelled a lowball buy order on some PENN options that would have triggered near the 3/5 lows.  From that bottom to today's intraday highs, the stock moved nearly 50% in less than 7 trading sessions.

My instincts were wrong, and today's high volume close at new highs on the SPY indicates impressive buying appetite.  I'm not in the mood to chase though.  Fed news this week could shake things up a little bit.  On the other hand, stimulus direct deposits are rolling out this week too, which I suspect is one of the reasons the market remains so enthusiastic, in conjunction with positive news flow on the vaccine distribution front (all adults in the US expected to be eligible for an appointment by May 1st).

Tough to gauge the crosscurrents, and I just don't feel ready to get aggressive at this level.  I'd rather wait and see some sideways action to tighten up the volatility a bit and digest the big bounce.

If this thing just keeps ripping face though... my face will remain firmly planted in my palm. :tongue2:

:doublefacepalm:

haha that faceplam pic is funny.

I am back in on all my usual stocks - have decided to play the 'stimulus checks' '???' 'profit' game. The one stock I didnt pick back up last week was BA - and wow did I miss something there. BA has now consistently laid flat during my holding periods, and right when I decide to cut bait - it shoots up like a rocket. Its feels like im playing chess against a supercomputer. So not touching BA anytime soon.

I feel like any sensible person it would be a bit hard not to be at least slightly apprehensive about the market...

But i trust what i see.

I think this correction or pullback, whatever its correct label is, offer some important reminders on some of the things Geo has been preaching.

The two that stand out most to me would be that of discipline, and planning your trade and trading your plan

I will personally be moving forward with caution and risk assessment in such a way that though i may not know the most i stand to gain, i will be well aware of the most i stand to lose.

Cant fight it, if it wants to go up, im fine with that.

I will not be sitting out for any ride up, as i was personally firmly planted in the ride down

I had a dream about a month ago that the market came crashing down- so all you market players get your money out NOW before the "big boom" happens.

And don't try to buy silver or guns- because they are marked at super high premiums- and don't buy gasoline because it only stores for 6 months( or so)

So- what DO YOU BUY?

*NOT STOCKS*.,,

Some food like rice works well for long term storage- and a decent garage sale "bug out bag" and a reliable vehicle.

And if you're single a whole world of things.

My advice is against stocks and even silver gold and guns. I advise to invest in technology of survival.
