I just want to mention NTCY - I got in at $10 and sold at $22 and now it's at $80+
That is a crazy story for sure- a bitcoin driven China stock.
However- I do not feel strong about bitcoin or E-currency. - However many people do.
I think there is going to be a huge bubble burst for the E-currency marketplace so if you have positions in them I would recommend taking some out and putting it into cash or currencies that are not trapped in a world where it takes time to hold money.
However- I have to give hats off to the E people- so many new made millionaires recently. - and also so many losses.
I am blessed enough to have just around $1000 to play around with- but I look at this new money generated- and soon when people need to withdraw money there might not ever be electricity!

We are getting to levels where, in the short term, it becomes more difficult to recommend new money to invest in the space. I became aware of BTC when it was valued at around $6, started holding it in the $200's, and have a sell order on the books closer to $60K BTC, not for a whole lot, but for a little, out of discipline. Nevertheless, I would not at all be surprised to see BTC doubling again this level.

So i know a lot of people are interested in cannabis
i really liked APHA as it performed well in relation to TLRY
TLRY seemed popular in the chat
APHA is looking nice to me right now
On the daily the 3 ma bounced off the 8 ma since its run began
We found support above the 20 ma and we sat above 18 the last 4 days. Has consolidated nicely and looks to be forming a bull flag on the 4 hour with its indicators winding up nicely
It is currently sitting priced above its 8 ma and the 3 ma is about to cross the 8 ma on the 4 hour chart
This is looking poised to move
Geo... Hoping you might be willing to weigh in and see if im missing something
Im eyeing this waiting for the breakout which i think is very close
Also wondering how you would estimate a PT
My plan would be make the buy and hold it while it makes a run for a few days until the sell signal showed on the 4 hour and then sell
Wait for the breakout and set my stop loss, what are we looking for ? 18.50 or 19? Depending on if it makes the move up now or winds a bit more

Wondering if this is something to stay away from as i am not sure it will break ath or not, but i do like this stock long as it is.
Looking for long holds i can keep and trade (god willing)
I would expect a PT of at least 25? But just play it by ear for a sell on the 4 hour
Also, idk how the merger will impact this stock so there is that too. Will eventually be converted to TLRY at something kike .83 tlry, idr.
So there are some things impacting it.
But still... Thoughts on my TA, what im missing, thoughts on the stock?
Overall it might be best to stay away im thinking since tlry is so up in the air the way ita chart looks and eventually apha stock price is dependent on tlry....
Its a lot i know. Im super high right now

Honestly APHA doesn't look much different from TLRY, which makes some sense since they are destined to be intertwined. Both of these stocks had a huge blow off a week ago. APHA didn't blow off quite as hard, and thus has been able to maintain slightly better price action... but make no mistake, there is a lot of pain in both of these stocks and you cannot expect that these will just blast off to their highs anytime soon. These stocks got ahead of themselves, plain and simple. As anyone who has been following this thread knows, I want to maintain some longer term exposure to the cannabis sector, but there are better opportunities if you're looking for near term strength. PENN for example. TROX was another one I highlighted Friday, although after being up over 8% on the day, I wouldn't advocate chasing that one.

Yeah i agree
I do like CGC but the price is fucking out there. 0 DD on the company.
That doesnt seem like sustainable price area. Ill probably look for it to retrace closer to its 200 ma and see how things go
Maybe all pot stock right now will just need some time to stabilize
Once apha and tlry stabilize i think ill be going long there and play the swings
Everyrhing going on with them sounds promising
I have quite a few stocks im looking st right now but im still analyzing everything
Realizing i dont need to jump in asap to make sure i dont miss gains..
And that doing so is more likely to cause mistakes and losses...
Im going to be patient and very meticulous in what stock i enter and when...
Very busy doing DD and TA. Mostly TA
I feel like following the trends through and buying and selling when you should, time will do the DD for you
But right now i kike energy, steel, batteries, semiconductors, rare earth, and pot so probably start there
Was curious, if a stock pays a high dividend is there any benefit to the stock price staying low?

You don't strike me as the type of guy that wants to hold onto positions, so unless that changes, dividend stocks aren't really relevant to how you appear to trade. A better entry on a dividend payer is going to give you a better annual yield on that dividend. If however, a dividend paying stock is in a sustained downtrend, it probably means that the dividend isn't considered safe and will likely be cut. You should read the balance sheet and pay attention to the earnings reports to get an idea of whether a company is producing enough sustainable cash flow to support or increase their dividend, as stocks that cut their dividend tend to get punished.

Nice, thanks man.
I guess that ET pays high dividends and people were telling me buy it up and sit.
Trox looks good man, and bouncing nicely off its 8 ma, when did you get in?

Have a look at Terrascend. A Canadian cannabis company with global operations. While the other cannabis sector companies experience wild swings, Terrascend lumbers onwards and upwards. I bought well below $2 CAD and it's trading ~$20 CAD. Analysts seem to love it as well.

I mentioned amd the other day but i wamt to mention it again because i like amd and i know someone else here was watching too
Amd is poised to break
If you like amd and want entrance, i think now is an ideal time.

Short downward trend is broken and consolidation is finishing and poised to break.
Everything going on i am very bullish here
*Also the last dip before breakout on AMD the rsi sat exactly where it is now.

I really don't understand this move, is it just because he was asked in that hearing if he would buy GME at this price and he wanted to prove it to them?
He's made at least 10-15million and he decided to spend a couple million of it to buy more GME
Maybe it's going to be part of his defence in court for whoever is sueing him? But I still don't really get it. Probably should have saved the cash for legal fees.

I do like AMD too, but the way I drew my lines is a bit more conservative and doesnt show a breakout just yet. I think you'd be fine buying here, but I don't believe it's a mad dash or anything. If Monday opens red, I may scoop scome calls.
