For cfl i was thinking i would watch for a drop and keep my eyes open for a good entry point. I was thinking if i get lucky and it has a strong drawback, i can gain a nice entry point sometime in the coming days or weeks.
My plan was to use it as a sort of more stable safety net stock to hold and play off the expectation of steel and raw materials being bullish moving forward for this year
Between its movement, revenue increase over the last 2 quarters, and everything going on in and outside the market, i thought it might be a good one to build a position into as a safer investment
I havent done extensive research into the company though, but that was my thoughts on it right now

ASTI- a solar stock went crazy. I bought in at like .01 and it's at like .06 now- Should have gotten more.
I'm honestly not sure why it has spiked so high but hey I'm not complaining. I did a search for why and couldn't find any announcements.
Maybe it's because solar is definitely going to be around.
Company is called Ascent Solar Technology. ASTI. Some guy on youtube recommended it a month ago and turned out to be a good pick.
Also- I hope you guys have some Numinus wellness . It's a ground breaking field and it's sitting at a dollar per stock. They do psychedelic research for therapeutic legal doctor use. Ticker LKYSF- this could be a longterm one- but I can see it going big.

Htbx finally started cooking with gas. Trxc continues the bullrun. My biggest position 320% gains. In the long run this could go triple easily once products are sold more. Very interesting company with great upside potential even now.

I also think AAPL's management is generally conservative, and unlikely to make a big bet on bitcoin, even as I could see them getting involved in some capacity.
You could very well be right. I had read that their crypto entrance could potentially be selling it directly through apple pay. However this was just an article and there is a chance it either does not happen or like you are saying is not significant enough to push them any higher. I might unload a little bit into any near-term strength.

So, the thing about the way that I trade... I'm not usually looking to make direct stock-to-stock comparisons, even though NIO and TSLA are in similar sectors. I also generally don't care that much about the underlying fundamentals on any given stock. Price is my arbiter of truth, it tells me whether I want to get in a trade, stay in the trade, and eventually leave the trade. I like NIO because the moving averages are positively stacked, it has been consolidating for long enough to allow the 50 day moving average to catch up, and it's starting to move higher on increasing volume. That's a setup I can get behind, because it indicates that the average cost basis for traders is clustered around the same level, and buyers are coming in to push the stock higher. Since it is also near its all time high, there is no real resistance from regretful buyers who are underwater. In other words, the stars are aligned, and it's ready for liftoff.
ZM is a bit different. It has been trending down and so there is some overhead resistance. However, it worked a lot of that off by basing just above the 200 day moving average, and the fact that it held its big Friday breakout, is indicative that holders are simply not that interested in selling right now. Subsequently, in the last half hour, it became evident that buyers are getting more aggressive and we have moved above the Friday breakout high to continue that move. This one is really launching, and along with CGC, TLRY, MARA, PLCE and NIO, is sending my portfolio into the stratosphere.

Getting caught up in personal animosity and spitefulness is completely counterproductive to the mission of this thread and this forum. This discussion is designed to help people figure out how to productively navigate their financial landscape. What you think about any given CEO, or whatever policies government has or has not put into place that may have favored them and their companies, is irrelevant to our mission of improving our financial situation by utilizing the tools set before us.

TSLA has climbed higher over the broken backs of many a short seller. If you are a glutton for punishment, by my guest and take that trade. Point is, it's not up to us to allow any of this to happen. To believe that you have that level of control or influence is arrogant at best. It's also plain not helpful to those of us who are focusing on making the system we have available (even in all of its unfairness), work for us. If you want to continue a discussion along these lines, it would be better suited for a separate thread, as it is fairly distracting from the purpose and intention of this one.

Thanks for that! Sounds awesome- and with those other stocks you mentioned you're making bank!
I'm new to this and don't have a lot to invest but I picked up a few of the NIO stocks- Electric cars ARE the future- and it doesn't seem like they are going out of business anytime soon.

Just curious. solar stock ASTI- kind of a small company but in a booming field. Price went from 1 cent to 6 cents!
I mean- it wouldn't hurt to throw a $100 in there incase it goes to the moon. Have you heard of this stock.
Also Do you recommend MindMEd and Luminus? two psychedelic stocks? I have a bit of both

I was reading about Mindmed earlier today since I think that field will blow up sooner or later and because I feel it's a worthy cause
From what I saw, it may be early to jump on it Their only revenue stream is from selling stocks (no sales yet) And they may give away doses or sell them for cost which wouldn't do anything good for their stock
Don't take my word though. I know very little about this. That's just from the notes I took from the article

Yeah, that's why I was asking Geokills, A- because he runs this site and B he knows stocks.
Either way- They are not that expensive and I can see it going big someday too! Might be a longterm investment.

ASTI is a no go for me. The sector has been on fire (see: TAN), but I just don't like to trade penny stocks off the pink sheets. They're too volatile and the volume is generally too thin for me to be able to trade it, as my typical position size will usually create price slippage, making it difficult to reliably enter or exit at the intended price.
MMEDF is interesting. I like what they're doing. From a technical perspective, the stock is digesting the hell of a run it had late last year and carving out a high base. It's in no man's land at the moment, but you could maybe buy on a bounce off the 50 day @ $3, or a move above $4. Between $3-$4, I see no edge.

That does make sense about ASTI and your position. For me it's a go- because of my small investment and volume.
Thanks for all the help ! I'm brand new to the stock game but I'm already up pretty good with the little bit of money I'm using to learn with.
I will be following this thread more often. This is going to sound crazy but I've been doing pretty good catching YouTube videos as they are just released suggesting buys and they've all panned out- some of them super well.
Although I can't condone using YouTube as your stock advisor. IT's worked thus for me. Just to get started!
