Its entirely possible for a US market crash to effect the global market. I think it is extremely likely that this crash will happen in the near future.

I was talking to a friend of mine who is a gold bug and he told me that right now's not a great time to buy gold for long term holds and to wait for a dip.

I'm still very optimistic about raw materials, steel in particular. In the US People are fleeing the cities in droves and lots of new construction is happening in the countryside. In China they are doing the exact opposite. They have started to build a mega city and have starting importing steel (they used to export) on top of that India (another big steel producer) is no longer exporting steel. Steel mills have yet to return to pre 2020 capacity. Lots of cool new developments with arc facilities. Biden is talking about a big infrastructure deal. All of these conditions lead me to believe that the price of steel is going to go crazy and these companies (MT X ZEUS VALE CLF) are going to benefit from it

I love crypto but the bull run won't last forever, thats why I've been swing trading crypto. Once the price goes down I'm giving them all my money, holding, and never looking back.

I'd stay away from silver for the near future

GME is getting wrecked in the post market, down to $175. I kind of wonder if the show is finally over :shrug2:

Its the Shorts doing ladder attacks to drive the price down to convince people to sell, its going to trade sideways and spike when they have to cover their positions

Didn't the Volkswagen squeeze happen with like only 12% short interest thought? GME and AMC are still the 2 most shorted stocks on NYSE, 40-60% interest is still super high

On the chart right before the real squeeze on Volkswagen there was an orchestrated dip to scare off paper hands then it took off to crazy highs

The suits, who own the financial media, are spreading FUD to try to save their own asses

The low volume is because retail is holding and wall street is laddering to artificially reduce the price

At this point, the squeeze hasn't even begun. Right now, Hedge Funds are openly committing crimes in an effort to save their profits. We're looking at large scale price manipulation, as well as a concerted media push to make GME seem like "old news" while simultaneously talking up SLV so that Citadel can earn back their money with their giant stake in SLV.

People will almost certainly be fined, and might even go to jail over this.

When it's truly over, the news won't report it because it will actually be old news.

The VW short squeeze happened with a 12% short, yes, but at the time of the 12% short, 20% of shares were owned by the German Government, 50% were owned by Porsche, and about 26% were owned by VW, leaving 4% of the shares to cover the short.

Right now, retail owns a bit over half of GME.

Honestly, part of me thinks that what I spent on GME should be written off because Hedge Funds will commit any number of crimes to avoid losing money. It's a rigged game. Always has been, always will be. The problem is, I don't think there are enough possible crimes to commit to turn this into a profit for Hedge Funds. So far, they've only put off the inevitable by a few days.

I really don't see a way out that doesn't involve either (a) crashing the economy or (b) sending gunmen to the house of every single retail investor to make them sell at gunpoint.

Even if this wasn't true, it looks like the days of the GME short squeeze are coming to a close. $1000 was definitely a meme, but I think some of us are surprised it even made it to $480 or whatever it's high was.

It's now trading at <$90

Maybe it'll have a small bounce, but anyone who bought in at $400 is absolutely wrecked now. Some people are probably feeling pretty shitty today.

Alot of it has to due with market manipulation by the heggies, There is still heavy restrictions on retail traders so the only volume is shorts trading with eachother to keep the price low. Still holding

Record it and report them to the SEC or whoever, this is basically fraud at this point. Buy the dip

Hit an order for AMZN yesterday, which has been on fire ahead of their earnings report this afternoon. Only other position is NIO, a small order that hit on a dip. Will keep a closer stop on that one.

Am 70% cash right now and feel comfortable sitting there with low limit orders ready to go.

Welp the news broke that Jeff Bezos is stepping down as Amazon CEO. I have no idea if that will affect the stock price, maybe in the short term? Amazon is going to still be a successful company so who knows maybe it won't even affect anything?

I was looking to grab some TSLA at the dip yesterday for a quick little gain and regret not jumping in.

Tilray killed it today, regret getting out of that one...damn
