RUN is generally working... but it couldn't build on yesterday's bounce, so still in a consolidation period. Alert @ $89.50.
NVDA - Shut it down, it's just not doing much and I definitely don't want to hold it over the weekend. Alerts set at $553.50 and $560.
AAPL - Peeling off a little bit of the position I rolled up to a higher strike yesterday, since it is up 20% already and I just want to de-risk a bit going into the weekend. I will probably sell another chunk of it into the close, and leave the last third in play for next week.
SOLO - Not doing much today, but I'm ok with that as long as it holds firm or moves higher into the close.
NIO - Same sector as SOLO, a Chinese electric company that we've talked about. Perked up today after a little pull back over the past week and a half. I re-initiated a position earlier today.
TLRY - Actually added a little bit more to this one. Alert at $18.50. A move above that level and I'll be adding again.
CGC / PLCE / HAL / RIG - Comfortable holding, although HAL will be problematic if it fails hold its 50 day.

Time got away from me and I didn’t get a chance to make adjustments for weekend, but am relatively comfortable with holdings.
Hit a limit order for a second batch of TLRY @ $17.08, have a third for low $16s. Still have AAPL and AMZN.
Was looking at NIO when it was at $57, and guess I just thought it would continue to slip lower but didn’t even set a limit order, ah well, missed it. Beyond that and a few HAL, @ half exposure going into the weekend. Go Chiefs 😁

Of course, but the real question is, from what level? Hence, trading in scales. Be prepared to capture a move down to $15 (and not panic because you overbuilt your position at higher levels), but also have a position, because it may not get down there.
Worst case, we could get a big swoon in the aggregate markets if it looks like the $1.9 trillion stimulus deal won't come to fruition, or coronavirus mutations prove their ability evade the vaccines that are being rolled out, or some other weird shit happens that no one can guess. In that event, you could very well see TLRY back at $10. Point being, you manage risk. I like the story, I like the stock. I am comfortable holding even at levels that are +300% from its November lows. If the landscape changes, so too may my positioning, but I like the story intermediate to long term, so even as I may scale back should it begin to look technically weak, I will be keeping a very close eye to jump back in as signs of continuation manifest. For now, it's strong as death, and that's the type of momentum you want to capitalize on.

Any suggestions on evaluating a stock for long term that is coming from a previous high that far exceeds its current price?
I have very small stake in some stocks that are cheap and moving up that were once worth 10x or more.
Im not sure how you differentiate between bandwagon buying vs a fair assessment of the stock value.
All you can do is pay attention and watch how it acts? Just take notice of the pattern and trend and play it out?
Edit:
Found some sites to help me figure it out.
Looking at things like revenue and earnings etc.
Guess its hard to predict some of these.
I think im going to sell all my chart based guesses that have gone up for no reason and go with solid long term companies i believe in..
I also think ill sell some of my china based positions...
I think i wont invest in companies in other countries just because its profitable unless they arent a socialist competitor

If a stock is down 90%, you're just bottom picking... and the butthole ain't really my thing.
If you are a sophisticated, long term value investor, go ahead and asses valuation. But for any average joe, and particularly in the market that we have (which is all that matters imho), value plays aren't what is working. If you're a long game investor, fine, go for value. But if you're an active trader, stop looking at stocks that are trading below their 50 day moving average. Period.

What about a stock like ipwr?
Just looking at the chart i mean. The full length chart it starts out high as fuck a few years ago and drops very low to the now.
Ive seen a few stocks like this.
Where its a relatively short lifespan starting high and falling low.
What is going on with something like that?
Also for cannabis, i jumped into APHA around 9 and its doing well. They seem to have a decent amount of good things going on with a merger with a brewing company rolling out its product feb 1st and an expected high earnings reports i believe.
I am adding to that position this morning as its been one of my best performers and seems like it isnt slowing down much
Also wouldnt mind a second opinion on NNDM
I got it at 9 and its blowing up.
I like their idea a lot but i also am not seeing why the huge spike is warranted besides speculation so im worried to add to it.

I had my sell order for 99.69, but it's way past that in pre-market. I bumped it up to 420, LOL. I only put in $1000, and got in at $41.

Selling the rest of my AAPL calls into the +4% pop this morning. Also sold my NIO on its 4% opening pop. Still holding a big bag of SOLO, which is up better than 6% but looks like it has the momentum to carry it above its last short-term high of $9. Also trying to sell some Feb $105/$110 bear call spreads on GME for $2.50, but not getting a fill yet...
Out of SOLO, looks like it's getting rejected @ $9.

GME is up another 80% so far this morning. RBC direct investing is down. I can't log in. haha.
Just going to let it ride I guess. This is clearly capitulation, but it's going to turn at some point.

My order got rejected because the underlying is a hard to borrow stock... Really wanted to get short today, but the IV is too high on the puts

In my view, the only way to go short on a squeeze like GME is to use bear call spreads, as by selling the calls, you neutralize the IV expense of the options (by being a spread, you also define your risk). Going short the underlying is far too dangerous IMO, not that you could find a borrow anyway. In fact, even my attempt to sell $105/$110 bear call spreads, won't fill, with the stock upwards of $150! I'm just going to chalk this one up to "too hot to handle".
TLRY marking time in a sideways range, should hold $17, but if that breaks I would expect a pretty quick move down to $15.
PLCE - also a heavily shorted stock, is up over 10% today, bringing my March calls to +133%
