I dont think its going as low as 200 but you know there's a sell coming. Too many rumbles honestly I think there was alot of coasting off the stimulus cash but also like geo said alot of confidence at biden cutting another check and people just blowing it in both the market and especially how still white hot crypto is.

tsla is a pretty obvious long term stock, but maybe not the best time to buy. I never had it myself, but I looked at shorting it today at the peak and indeed it dropped 2% but I didnt have the funds to short that. So you know keep that option in mind too.

Don't like it. The 8 period EMA is below the 20 day SMA, even as the stock is still ~20% above its 50 day. This is in an intermediate downtrend, and there is now some considerable resistance due to the slide from $40 down to $28 over the past month. It needs to consolidate and is, in my view, a do nothing stock right here right now.
In other news, the UVXY I put on Friday was pennies away from getting stopped out. It's doing OK this morning, but not really taking off, with the market firming up, I'm taking the position off for a small gain.
AVTR is busting a move higher, continuing out of its squeeze. This one has been very orderly.
Cannabis also showing a lot of strength, I'm presently in TLRY and ACB, although they are small positions as I trimmed everything back in a pretty big way last week. I was almost called out of my ACB, but fortune had the stock close one cent below the $10 level that would have snagged away my shares.
NVDA is another highlight this morning. After a month's long period of really tight consolidation, it appears to be breaking out decisively this morning. It can be a tough stock to trade for smaller accounts because the dollar value per share is so high, but if you have the capital, you should be able to go in heavy here with a stop at $534, which seems unlikely to be hit anytime soon. I'm long via February $550 calls. NVDA is being used in a huge way in the autonomous driving race, and a move above their August high of $589 portends a significant move higher (which could be getting started right now).
SNAP is also worth a shot. In a relatively tight squeeze and breaking out with a bounce off of its 8 day EMA. In February $50 calls, stop just below $52, although I will be tightening up a partial stop before the day is out.

Taking a small position in LLY. Biopharm company that has some skin in the game of Alzheimer’s & Covid treatment. Saw the news today about promising results from their trial. Funny, this company is literally down the street from me, hope that’s not adding some bias 🙂

You dont like MP?
They seem to be big on trying to be a part of the whole electric cars movement. Seem like they would be a good choice for it.
I threw some in. Looking at it as a long term hold.
If i lose then ill come back and say i shoulda fucking listened to Geo

Not the chart, I didn't even look at what the company does, it's just not at an actionable buy point. If the electric auto is your trip, follow the notes I left on NVDA this morning. Or get into NIO, which I have highlighted several times over. NVDA looks like it's just getting started on a new leg higher. NIO is a bit extended to buy here, but its chart is a thing of beauty and it's probably going higher, even if it decides to rest a bit first. Even SOLO is looking actionable here, although we would want to see a strong close on the day and ultimately a move above $8 to build confidence in making a run at the old highs.

NVDA not acting well this morning. Because I was trading via options, I was stopped out below yesterday's closing price. There was a tell that today wouldn't have been an easy continuation, by way of the weak close on the stock yesterday. When something that breaks out doesn't close near its highs of the day, that indicates supply coming in, which typically results in more weakness the following day.
TLRY is absolutely killing it however, and I added to that position this morning.
Sold $0.40 weekly $11 calls against my ACB. This will be the fourth time I have covered the position with short calls, reducing my cost basis in the underlying common stock by close to $2 in only a month's time. If the shares get called away, that's fine with me, as I'll make another $0.40/share on the capital appreciation of the underlying while pocketing the $0.40/share short call premium. Would look to rinse and repeat next week. Small stocks like this with fat weekly call premiums are an awesome way to create an income generating trade, in a name that you'd like to be long anyway.
Took half of my AVTR off the table, since I was up better than 100% on the Feb $30 calls I held. Nothing wrong with the stock, but I like to take a bit off the table whenever I see a double.
SNAP is floundering around. Need to see a move above yesterday's high of $55.79 to get interesting.
Likewise with SOLO, I bought some of this yesterday, and even added this morning, but it's not doing anything and you can tell by the long upper wicks on the daily candles that there is some significant supply around $7.50. A move above $7.68 would have be getting more aggressive. Below $7, I'd be out.

Just finished reading this and saw Solo hit $8, think I’ll be adding to a small position currently held. Too bad about NVDA, I mean that stop triggered exactly at my mark!! Such is life but holy moly what are the odds? I’d like to re-enter as I like the stocks long term outlook.
Sold LLY, think I was late to that party and would rather trim the losers than hold on waiting for IDK when..

The action on SOLO is very positive. It took a pretty steep intraday drawdown to test yesterday's high and was immediately bought and sent to a new daily high. Volume is also off the charts and confirming the action. Pretty sure this one's going back to at least $10, and quickly.
NVDA bounced off of its 8 day EMA, but the lower low from yesterday is a problem. Until this thing gets above $550, it's in jail and not something I want to touch.
SNAP did end up hitting a new high, if this looks set to close near the highs of the day on good volume, I will add to the position.
Good job shutting down LLY. The move below yesterday's low was an obvious sign of supply outstripping demand, and it will need time to consolidate before moving higher.

Very impressive move on DASH today as well. I missed the beginning of it, but I did add a very small piece when it eclipsed its IPO high. Typically, IPO's that settle in and then break above their first day's/all time high, can move rather fiercely to the upside. This one is a little tricky, since it's already moved from $135 to $200 in a couple of weeks... but the momentum is there and I want to keep it on my radar. Small position for now, but if we see it settle to $180-$190 later this week and bounce, you can bet I'll be adding.

JMIA looks pretty good, but it probably has a little more work to do (aka sideways grind) before it can take out the old high @ $49. My biggest issue is the volume, steadily declining and not particularly high today even given the powerful move higher. I would thus expect that it'll jig around between $35-$45 for a couple of weeks. Let the 50 day moving average catch up to price a bit more and the bollinger bands constrict, then set your alerts for an actionable buy point.

SNAP has been holding steady near the highs of the day. Volume could be better, but I'm going to add a little bit here anyway, albeit half as much as I would have if volume were putting in a better showing -- just in case we get a little retracement tomorrow that I can buy on a potential bounce around $55.
SOLO continues to absolutely crush it, fantastic volume and moving up and out of a squeeze after consolidating its HUGE breakout that mick owned a couple of months ago. Watch this for any weakness in the morning as an opportunity to add to your position.
TLRY, still smokin' .. I'm guessing $20 sooner rather than later.
Quick note on MP for Enkidu. I wasn't crazy about it yesterday, but the move today is powerful, with good volume and retaking its 8 day EMA after spending weeks under it. This one probably has more room to run, although getting through $40 could be tough, near term, given how wide the bollinger bands are and how extended we remain above the 50 and 200 day moving averages.
